Manohar was still thinking what he had seen...in his whole life he had never seen his dear friend getting ready and rushing out of the house so early...

his stream of thoughts paused at Pratima's rough voice "saab breakfast is ready" he turned and looked at the breakfast... "wow...that's looks delicious"

he started eating when he saw Kaka pulling out a huge suitcase out of his room...

Manohar didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the old man's beliefs and thoughts...his brain skipped from one stone of thought to another... "are you going somewhere??" he asked while eating his apple...

Kaka was furious over him since last night...though he didn't utter a word, his facial expressions clearly warned Manohar not to speak with him...

Manohar was totally confused at his reaction but he didn't wanted to ask him...it would be like putting his foot on the snakes tail... without questioning anything further he helped the old man to pull his luggage outside...

"i know this very well Veer...but that's not my question...i know Chandni has already left the project" Meenakshi curiously watched him...while he seated on the opposite chair in a big office...

Veer knew that he would never get into any relationship with Chandni...

he knew she doesn't love him...it could be something else...

but he knew from his past meeting with her that she never even preferred to talk to him... "well I have no relationship with Chandni" he was firm and his words sounded fixed...

Meenakshi got up from her chair...she walked towards him "it could be from your side, but Chandni has changed...i have seen that change in her."

Veer wasn't waiting for Chandni to fall for him...neither he wanted her to come closer to him... "i suppose it was just an incident that happened out of blue...there is not and there won't be any relationship between both of us..." he sounded clear...

Meenakshi was sure that he not saying wrong... "Veer...i always want my daughter happy...and I would never have a problem with your relationship...but if there isn't any relation then I am shocked at how a girl could run all the way in the middle of the cold night..."

Veer was still thinking...for some reason he wasn't shocked but he wanted to go away from her... "i will take a leave now"

Meenakshi smiled "thanks for coming Veer" he nodded and left...

Chandni knew Veer would come to see her...that was her reason of quickly finishing her work...but she was scared...for the first time she lied to her mother...

she knew there was something that had to be done...something that was left, she closed her eyes...she could see him coming towards her...she quickly opened her eyes and turned around...

She could hear her own heart beat...he looked changed...he wasn't the same Veer with a mischievous smile parting his lips, rather he looked serious...as if he lost something...

he looked at her and walked towards the bench...she didn't left a single second not gazing him...as he came nearer...suddenly the smile on her lips vanished "Veer" she shouted and came towards him...she quickly grasped his hand and pulled him towards herself...

he was shocked to see her reaction "Chandni..."

she carefully looked around as if she had seen something that made her shout so loudly...

her hands tightly entwined his hands as if protecting him from some danger... he saw her worried face...but he couldn't find out the reason... "what happened Chandni?"

she glanced at him and kept on looking around... "i …." she was about to say when she looked at him...

he was waiting for an answer...she looked at her hands, immediately she pulled her hands away...

embarrassingly she lowered her eyes... if she tells him if he would not believe her she thought "no...nothing Veer" she said nervously...

he wasn't satisfied with her answer...but he didn't wanted to carry on with this... "anyways...how are you???" he asked with a cheerful smile...

she looked into his eyes...same eyes that she had been seeing since ages, her eyes have been looking for him... some things undone...some words unsaid... "Veer..."

she wanted to say but before she could continue his sharp words made her realize that he can never change "have you made up your mind??" he asked smilingly...

she was little surprised... "made up my mind??? for what???"

he didn't wanted to say those words "to kiss me??" he said but deep inside his heart he was hitting himself for doing this to her...

Chandni wasn't feeling comfortable...he was still thinking about kissing...so he didn't felt the way she had been feeling about him...

In the past so many months, she thought only about him and he had no feelings for her...he was the same... she saw him smiling... "i have to leave" she said annoyingly...

he knew she would not come to see him again, he had to do this not to spoil her life...

by saying these words he knew she would never think about him again... "leave??? why??? we have not done anything yet" he said smilingly...yet another sharp words for Chandni...

"i can't believe...why did I came to see you..." with tears in her eyes she walked away... he didn't stop her...he was prepared for this...he wanted her to walk away from his life forever...she will be more protected if she stays away from his life...

she wiped her tears and regretted each and every moment when she thought about him...

he took a deep breath...sat on the bench and thought about her...he wanted to protect her and to send her away from his life, he already protected her...he knew he doesn't deserve her...he also knew she had been waiting for him to confess about his feelings...

After a long time...

He heard his phone... Kaka had been waiting for him, he remembered Kaka had to leave for Dehradun...

Simply closed her door and lay on the bed crying...She couldn't think of anything else...first time she loved someone and that person took her for granted...

first he forcefully kissed her...then made fun of her...even after this she fell for him...and now he still making fun of her... "all you need is a kiss...i hate you Veer...i hate you"... she wiped her tears and buried her face in her pillow...

It was late evening ...she didn't come out of her room...she was ashamed of herself for liking such a person who doesn't even care for her feelings and who is only attracted to her beauty...

she disliked each and every moment she spent with him...

"I don't want to celebrate my birthday Kaka" Veer's voice was low...Kaka couldn't understand the reason of his sadness...he looked gloomy...but he knew Veer would never admit and never tell him...

his birthday was approaching near...

Manohar prompted "we can have a party at the local club in the town...a discotheque party"

Kaka wasn't happy with Manohar's idea "who told you to poke your nose"

"poking nose is not bad" Misha replied at the already going conversation... Kaka smiled at her though he wasn't happy...

"well Veer must have some party...i have called all the friends from Mumbai...we are gonna have a blast" Misha excitedly looked at Veer...who seemed out of their conversation...

"i have to rest.." he walked away towards his room...

Next Day

Maneka tried to conclude some reason "well Chandni...if that's not the thing...then why do you look worried??"

Chandni was completely furious at her "why do you keep on repeating same sentence…..i have no problems….can you see any problem in my life??? now stop discussing my worried face and let me concentrate on my work"

Maneka surprisingly looked at her…..she couldn't deject Chandni yelling at her "fine….i am not going to ask you again…"

she took out her phone and dialed Rohan's no…..she was waiting for Rohan to come….as he had promised her that he will reach before next Sunday…..

Chandni couldn't understand her reason of getting annoyed…..how could she react because of that one person…..

how can her life be so much influenced by him….why can't she just be normal, all these thoughts kept on piling up her mind……

She knew she had to start her life again….she will completely forget about him…..it was difficult to think her life without him….but that was the only way left….she would definitely not go and ask him about what he feels….it was clear from what what he had said……

Kamini kept a big earthen pot near the temple which she had filled with water….she was performing a seven day prayer as told by the head priest….

it was for Chandni's welfare…..after seven days of successful prayer she would offer this water to Chandni and would ask her to have bath with the holy water……

she was preparing all her things to start with the prayer….. Kamini would go to any extend to save all the her Grand daughter from all the difficulties.

Meenakshi did not understand the idea of her Mother to organize the prayer at home…..but she could never question her….Kamini would never listen to her….

Meenakshi was well aware of the time Chandni was going through….she had a clue that Chandni might like Veer but there isn't anything going between the two…..

she knew Chandni would never tell her anything…..she would never share her emotions with anyone….

Since Childhood she was quiet and never spoke to anyone about her feelings…but Meenakshi had no problems with Veer….she knew he was rich, handsome and well educated boy….If Chandni would ask her Mother she would never say no…… Veer seemed mature and understandable to her….

Next Day...

Kaka reached the station….he saw some people dressed up in white came to pick him….. "Acharya Ji is waiting for you" said one of them….

Kaka smiled and seated in the big car….the journey wasn't too far….all the way from the station he prayed to all the Gods to save Veer….. he knew he won't be able to return back by Sunday……

Kaka was guided inside a huge house…..Acharya Ji seated on the first floor…… he took off his shoes at the main door…..it was a small ashram as he entered everybody greeted him….

He walked upstairs….. a huge door was open and he could see an old man sitting on a chair with his eyes closed…… there were few people around him…… Kaka entered the hall and folded his hands and bowed in front of him……. Acharya Ji opened his eyes "come…i was waiting for you"

Kaka seated…..Acharya ji requested all other people to kindle leave the hall for sometime…….

Chandni was returning from college…..she was walking through a small path surrounded by trees all around…… "i am leaving these paths alone……annoyed with my love i am leaving all alone"

Veer gazed outside the window thinking about her "like the way you left me, i find it difficult to live now…..please come….i feel tormented"

She kept on walking….without looking at anything else….she walked straight with lots of feelings hidden deep inside her "don't increase the distance……my breath will stop……don't make my love impure Veer"

He knew very well that he broke her trust "this heart itself accepted this suffering and now its crying….nothing is worse than you"

She stood still "whatever my heart was thinking has now turned into my tears...this love has become a shock...my heart never knew...i cannot tolerate even the minutest distance...this lonely paths with pain I cannot tolerate..."
