Chapter 1 Deception
The sun was blazing high in the sky as 3 cars rolled up to stand outside the biggest construction company inside all of India and possibly Asia. The door was opened of the first car by the on duty watchman.
'Goo, good morning sir' He stuttered as a young man of fine physique and perfect M shape lipped with dark eyes stepped out. He had a clean shaven stubble and wearing dark sunglasses over his eyes to shade himself from the son. But this Man knew he could face the sun and tackle it any day. He was a strong man physically and mentally. He took one step towards the watchman and lowered his sunglasses and store right at him. The watchman gulped and looked down.
'17 Seconds late' Maan stated at the fact present in front of him. Everyone looked at the watchman feeling sorry for the watchman as today would be fired and it will be hard for him to find a new job especially at this in his life.
'Soorr'Sorrry Sir' he stuttered putting his head down in shame. 'It won't haa..happen again' He added on.
'I'm sure it won't.' Maan smirked as he walked off. Everyone was shocked as Maan just left him and didn't fire him on the spot. Maan turned back and said 'Its not everyday I give people another chance. Just one more mistake and I'll make sure'' Maan left the words unfinished as he walked into the building.
'Adi and Sasha' Maan called as he walked past there cabins. Both stumbled as they got up and ran behind him.
'Status' Maan asked as he took a seat in his cabin and put his hands together staring at them.
'Its done Sir as you asked. Tonight is the press conference.' Adi stated.
'And you Sasha' Maan said turning to her.
'Yes Maan Sir' Sasha gulped.
'Darling why are you getting scared for? Just go to Khurana Mansion and make sure that she is fine and get her ready for the press conference. And remember both of you any word gets out then I will make your life worser than hell understood' He stated.
'Yes Sir' They both replied and walked out.
Maan smirked as he leaned back and closed his eyes thinking to the last 36 hours. He now owned and possessed the one thing he realised he wanted the most Geet Handa now belonged to him legally morally and physically.
FLASHBACK 16 years ago
Maan Singh Khurana never forgives nor does he forget. Especially those who did wrong to him and his family. He still remembers the day when Mohinder Handa had been the soul reason for the destruction of his whole family. Leaving his mother incapable to look after herself, his dadima on her deathbed and his father degraded in the eyes of the world.
It was his 8th Birthday. His parents and dadima and baby sister Manviwho was 3 at the time were the most happiest people in the world. Because it was the elder birthday. Yes Maan Singh Khurana used to be Maan Singh Pradhan. His parents Naina Pradhan was the most loving woman in the world. She always doted on her children and husband. She loved her mother in law Savitri Pradhan as a real mother. His father was an army officer not only an officer but the highest ranking of a General. He had earned so many awards and medals for serving the country and saving it from counter attacks. His father Mohit Singh Pradhan made him proud to be his son. Maan always thought that when he gets older, he will be like his father. A self made man and serving the country and helping others. But who knew all this would change in a matter of minutes on his 8th Birthday. His grandma was his love of his life and he adored her so much. But one person he loved so much and could never see tears in her eyes was his sister Manvi. He doted on her loved her protected her played with her all the time. He always made sure there was a smile on her face. This was known as the small and happy Pradhan family.
The whole family stood around Maan as they sang him Happy Birthday as he smiled and looked at his fresh cream cake infront of him. He was just about to blow out the candles when someone rang the housebell.
Naina went to get the door and at the door stood some official looking men. They were Officers of the army.
'Mr Mohit Pradhan' One of the men said
'jii..'
'We are the investagative bureau of the army and we have reason to believe that you are a traitor to the state and have been helping the enemy' He replied.
'What? What rubbish?' Mohit replied. Maan looked up to his father.
'This cannot be true. My Husband is a sincere officer, Sir he has earnt so many awards for his service' Naina came forward.
'Sorry Maam let us do our job' He said as he took Mohit away.
'Mama, stop papa.. I havent even cut my cake yet please stop him' Maan cried out. Dadima ran to hug him and cried.
'Tut tut tut Mr Pradhan..' A voice said as Mohit sat in the interrogation room.
'you' He looked up in anger.
'What did you think? I didn't know that you knew the truth about me being the traitor and you were going to tell on me to the officials my dear friend' The man replied.
'MOHINDER HANDA'
'lower your voice Pradhan, I sold you out as a traitor and your proofs aganist me will work aganist you' He smirked.
'I will tell the officials that ...'
'You can't Mr proofs are all aganist you' He laughed.
3 Days later after Mohit had been arrested the official trial was launched. Mohit had been found guilty of treason and was to be arrested. Mohinder looked at him and smirked. Mohit looked down upset at the fact he could not prove Mohinder guilty or himself innocent. He looked at his mother who he had confided in before the trial. Unbeknown to him, Maan had heard the whole story as to how Mohinder was the real culprit. He looked at his father.
'Naina, take the kids away from here please and Ma take care of yourself' Mohit said as if he would never meet them again.
Naina was ridiculed by society and people often came to their house throwing things threw the windows throwing rubbish into their house. Someone had gone to the extent throwing a rock at Naina.
'You are a traitor.. Your husband is a traitor' People often yelled. Maan could no longer be schooled at the school did not accept him. His dadima health was deteriotating. No doctor would see her. At that time a news came from the officials that Mohit had committed suicide. Dadima could not take this news and passed away. Naina had lost her mental imbalance due to the society and her husbands death. Maan and Maanvi were left without parents. At that moment a good friend of Naina's and Mohit's came to their aid. Armaan and Shilpa Singh Khurana. They unfortunately knew the truth and could not help their dear friends and took Maan and Maanvi into their custody and brought them up as there own. They could not have kids of there own but brought Maan and Maanvi up. They moved abroad and Maan and Maanvi Pradhan became Maan Singh Khurana and Maanvi Singh Khurana. Naina surname was changed and put in an special hospital where Maan and Maanvi met her every month. But her state was such she refused to recognise them. She had become childlike almost. This made Maan more angry. His hatred towards Mohinder grew to new heights.
A few years back when Maan reached his 22nd Birthday and Maanvi her 16th, Armaan and Shilpa had passed away not after giving everything they owned to Maan and Maanvi in a car accident. Maan in those 14 years, was grateful for Armaan and Shilpa for everthing they did for them. But he knew that his new aim in life was to avenge his family's destruction. He had started keeping tabs on Mohinder since he turned 18 and took over the businesss part time whlist studying in University. He worked with Armaan and brought the business to new heights. His relationship with Maanvi never changed. He knew she didn't know what happened to their family as she was too younge but Maan was always over protective off her and knew he will protect her forever. But Maanvi was full on different to Maan. She was full of life and took each day as it came. She was traditional but a playful girl. *=(Like Maanvi in Ek Hazaron meh mere behna hai). She had played many pranks on Maan but he never would get angry at her. She was a cheerful girl.
Around 1 Month BEFORE MAAN AND GEETS WEDDING!!!
Maan returned to India after his 25th Birthday years exiling in London. He was now the youngest most successful enterprenuer and businessman. He was the most hot handsome guy and girls just fell for him. But he ignored it all. He was in India for one reason only and that was the destruction of Handa family.
His sister Maanvi also returned to India with him. She was a beautiful girl at 19 years old. She didn't want to be alone or live apart from her brother and Maan could never let Maanvi be seperated from him. He loved her too much as she was the only family left. Maanvi almost broke down when Maan joked about leaving her in London and he alone was to be going to india. When he saw tears in her eyes, he kissed her forehead and said he was joking before taking into a warm brotherly hug. Her tears have always been the weakness of him. Therefore both together boarded the flight to India. Maan put the best security for Maanvi and got her into the best college in Delhi.
He knew Mohinder Handa wanted to meet Maan as he was a Khurana for a new business venture. Maan smirked and thought that would be ideal. But he also realised that He had two daughters. Sameera Handa who was 21 and Geet Handa. However, not much was known about Geet except she was studying in Delhi but lived away from her family because she wanted to be independent and her family home was far away from her house so she thought it would be better for her to live at the hostel nearby. He knew the best way to start his revenge was his daughters. Every fathers weakness is a daughter. However fortunate for him, he had gained a picture of Sameera and thought she was beautiful but could not gain one of Geet as Mohinder as per Geet's request had been kept hidden and out of the limelight.
Maan walked into his office and met with his staff and introduced himself to his staff. His most trusted staff Adi and Sasha had accompanied him to India as well.
'So Mr Handa wants to meet me eh' Maan smirked.
'Yes sir, he has a new business propositon and would like to speak to you' Sasha replied.
'hmm let him in' Maan said.
'Hello Mr Handa how may I help you?
'Yes Mr Khurana I have this business proposition and you being number one in the construction business I would like you to work with me' Mohinder said.
Maan smirked as Mohinder left his office,
'STRIKE ONE. Mr Handa.. your business' He smirked.
'Strike two.. Sameera Handa' He smirked as he picked up his phone as the detective had told him where to find Sameera Handa.
