Part 2
After Mohinder Handa left, Maan smirked to himself and thought to himself how easy it was to get Mohinder Handa into his trap. It wasn't like he planned it but the mouse saw the cheese and fell into the trap itself. Mohinder saw that Maan's company was the best in construciton and therefore he contacted with Khurana Constructions to finalise a deal.
Maan looked at the papers and read it throughly.
'so he wants to make a hotel in the outskirts of Delhi...' Maan thought to himself. Outskirts of Delhi near the highway. Normally no-one resides there so Maan's future plans for Mohinder Handa will work fine.
He picked up his phone and called Adi into his office.
'Sir' Adi said as he walked in after being given the permission to enter.
'Adi Mr Handa came today and this is his proposal have a look' Maan said gesturing Adi to sit down and read through the file. Adi ran through the files and looked up and said
'Sir its such a good project, but if it fails, wouldn't you be in loss too?' asked Adi
'Not if we sign up the contract in such a way that Mr Mohinder Handa will have to bare all the costs' Maan said leaning smirking.
'What do you mean sir?'
'Adi make such a contract with Mr Handa which has the following clauses
1. If any damages occur to the building due to outside attacks, Mr Mohinder Handa will have to pay to recify the damage
2. If there is any casualites at site, Mr Handa will provide best treatment for them.
3. If the project is incompleted, Mr Handa will pay Mr Khurana 5 x the amount quoted by Mr Khurana.
4. If Mr Mohinder Handa wants to leave the contract, Mr Mohinder Handa will pay Mr Khurana 10 x quoted price as compensation for staff effort and Time.
5. IF there are any legal issue, Mr Mohinder Handa will deal with it.
6. IF there are any delays Mr Handa will give 50 lakhs more than quoted price per day.
And Maan added a few more clauses that will make Mohinder Handa to be in loss if anything goes wrong. Adi picked up the file and left and wrote the contract out for Mr Mohinder to sign. Mr Mohinder Handa came in late afternoon and signed the contract without reading it quickly as he had to leave for another meeting. (3 copies)
Maan held the contract in his hand and smirked and thought to himself
'Mr Mohinder Handa, you have just started the destruction of yourself'. He read through the contract and put it aside and was about to work on another file when a phonecall came. Maan smiled in joy when he saw the name.
'Bhaiii' Maanvi screamed in his ears.
'Maanvi, how are you? And why are you shouting. My ears will need some damage control soon' He laughed.
'haaawww, bhai, apni behen ka aisey koi maazaq uraata hai kya?' Maanvi pouted.
'Okay stop sulking and tell me how was first day of college?' Maan asked.
'bhai what do i tell you let me start from the beginning what happened today'
FLASHBACK-MANVI's first day
Maanvi had been arranged a room with Geet and Misha but as she was dropped off late by Sasha, her luggage was sent into her room and she was sent to pricipals office.
'Hi Sir, Main Maanvi Singh Khurana, i'm new.'
The principal looked up and saw her.
'Maanvi, right yes. Well welcome to our college and here is your timetable and your first lesson begins in 15 mins. But Manvi, find Geet. She is in all your classes and she is a wonderful kind hearted student.
'yes sir' Maanvi said. She walked out and bashed into someone.
'oi, can't you see and walk. Aage dekh kar chalte hai' Maanvi yelled at the guy.
'Sorry yaha par koi hai.. oh tum, Deir footiya' The guy turned and pretended not to notice and purposely looked down. Maanvi got more angry.
'Deir footiya, you how dare you? Don't you know who i am' asked Maanvi
'kya president ho America ki' The guy returned smirking.
'Tum chep na.. Forget it. I'm getting late. talking to you is like talking to an elephant without ears' Maanvi said walking office.
'Oi what did you say elephant...' the guy yelled. Manvi walked off by then.
She was walking towards her first class using the map when she saw a very beautiful innocent girl walking in the college grounds. She was walking alone and worried when a few guys approached her. Maanvi looked at the scene and noticed no one, out of the few people around were noticing the scene.
Maanvi followed on and walked towards her.
She saw that the girl sturggling and saw someone had held her hand and she was scared and tears were coming out her eyes.
'Oi let go of her' Maanvi yelled angrily. The guy turned around.
'oi who are you? and no. Kya yaar today Misha is not here with you haan Geet. No bodyguard?' He turned to Geet.
Yes that girl was Geet. She had left early from hostel to come to college as Misha was going through another hangover thinking maybe the new roomate will not let her drink so she overdrank last night. Geet walked through when the 3 guys she had complained aganist with the help of Misha for harrasing her had been kicked out of college. Amit. Prakash and Atul. They had noticed her coming to college and noticed Misha was not around neither was Uday or Viraat.
'Tum log kabhi sudroge nahi na' Maanvi asked. She punched the guy holding Geet hands and he lunged backwards falling on the floor. Geet was shocked. The other guys turned to Maanvi when two other guys came running to Geet. Maanvi was going to punch them when she saw them both punching Prakash and Amit. Atul was already on the ground.
'Geet are you okay? and what happened?' Uday asked as he consoled her. Geet just looked at Maanvi and hugged her. Atul got up and tried to punch Maanvi from the back when Viraat held her hand.
'Striking from the back is only for cowards.' Manvi turned around and saw Viraat twisting Atuls hand as it was about to strike her. Maanvi took Geet away and spoke to her
'are you okay?'
'Thank you so much' She said. Maanvi hugged her back.
'I was alone naa. They used to harass me before, and I complained and...thanks. I'm Geet
'Don't worry yaar. Aisey ladko ko aisa hi karna chahiye' Anyways, I'm Maanvi Singh Khurana' She smiled introducing herself.
'Geet I was looking for you. Principal sir said'
'your the new girl'
'yes' Maanvi said.
Geet and Maanvi started talking as Viraat and Uday took care of the guys until the security took them out. Then viraat and Uday went to principal to tell them what happened.
They returned to see them in a very close converations laughing.
'whats going on here?' Viraat asked.
'Viraat kuch nahi. Yeh Maanvi na.She so amazing. She lived in London before and..'
'wow Deir footiya.. tum Itna LAMBA raastey se ayi ho' Viraat emphasied on lamba.
'Viraat Vadhera, Miss Deir footiya' He smirked. Maanvi just rolled her eyes.
'Uday.. U D A.. aur a ke bad kya hota hai Geet?' Uday scratched his head and pretended to think. Geet laughed.
'Uday, its Y' Geet laughed.
Maanvi laughed too. 'Hi I'm Geet.. I think your staying in our room right 223'
'yep thats me. Friends..?' She took her hand out. Geet accepted her friendship
'we in same room. Oh you havent met Misha yet. By the way Maanvi, these guys are my close friends..' Geet introduced Maanvi to Uday and Viraat properly. Maanvi and viraat glared at eachother.
The whole day after mid afternoon Misha turned up. They all became best close friends. Maanvi felt like she was there for ages and part of the gang. She figured out that Geet was the most like her but she was less brave than her. But she loved traditional wear and loved the feeling of being loved and books and romance films. Uday was sweet but a bit too mental and Misha was bindass like Maanvi's attitude. And Viraat well, her chaatish ka aakra had just started with him and it wasn't going to end yet.
BACK to CONVO with Maan
'I tell you bhai, She is so sweet and innocent. She cares for everyone. She is so naive. I mean and so beautiful bhai. Bhai, kya main aapka aur Geet ka rishtaa ka baat karu?' Maanvi laughed.
'Maanu, you also known her one day.' Maan said ' and anyways about Viraat he called you deir footiya?..'
'Oh bhai uska jaawab main zarror dongi. Viraat Vadhera.. I will not leave you' Maanvi thought for a moment. 'bhai I havve got the perfect payback plan for him' Maanvi said.
As Maan was talking to Maanvi he researched on all the names given. He knew about the Vadheras, they were clients of his. Mr Diwan Vadhera and Mrs Simi Vadhera live in London but son lives in India. He knew Viraat is a good guy in heart. His research on uday showed that he was cousin of Misha and a dumb boy but naive. and Misha a bindass outgoing girl daughter of Dobriyals and a clean girl at heart. But for Geet, he could't find any information except she has a family in Delhi as her records were kept out. Maan knew he had to know about this girl because she seemed so special to Maanvi.
'Tik hai Maanu' Maan said
'Maanvi..' A voice came from the phone. IT was Geet calling Maanvi for dinner. (There hostel was like a mini flat with 3 bedrooms a kitchen bathroom and lounge) Maan's heart beat a skip like the voice was important to him.
'Bhai Geet's calling. Got to go'
Maan felt weird why that girl Geet whom he hasnt met was affecting him just from the voice and thought of her. He got another phonecall and left.
Sameera Handa was waiting outside.abc modeeling agency. Maan arrived and walked straight in. After a while a worker came out and said
'Sorry people auditions are over and a winner has been selected'
'kya'
'how'
'what so unfiar'
'sorry go home' The worker said. Sameera was irratated. She was about to leave when she heard a voice
'Sameera Handa' She turend around.
'Congratulations. you are the new face of Vogue' Sameera eyes blinked then double blinked.
'How but I didn't give an audition' Sameera said.
'But you don't have too' a voice said. Sameera turend and saw the most handsome guy looking at her.
'Sorry you are?' She asked, flattered by his gaze on her.
'Maan Singh Khurana and I asked them to select you. As I own 50% shares of the magazine and I only want my future girlfriend to be on the cover' He flirted with her smirking. He saw that Sameera was getting flattered.
Maan walked up to her and kissed her hand.
'Sameera' He said grazing her waist.
'Girlfriend? Mr Khurana, How do you know I will agree to be your girlfriend and what if I'm not single' She asked arrogantly.
'Oh baby I know' He smirked.
Sameera smirked too.
'oh Maan this is amazing thank you so much.. I mean you helped me so much'
'Anything for you Sammy'
Yes Maan and Sameera met when Sameera went for a Fashion show in Paris last month. Maan was following her and made Sameera fall head over heels for him. He smirked as he had no feelings for her. His plan was simple. Make her fall for him. Make her parents and her agree to marry him. Then use her and throw her out before marriage making the Handa's break in reputation.
