Nehuu!!🤗 A big warm bear hug all the way to Mumbai wishing you one of the bestest birthdays ever! Happy Birthday to one of the bestest friends I have ever made in my 15 years of time-pass life😆 I am sending up prayers to Devi Maiyya to thank you for gifting me such a wonderphul friendwa and also to give her an equally bhunderphul life ahead! Seven shadows creeped through the dimly lit hall,the mansion relishing in the cool Mumbai breeze.A tiny crash made them all jump out of their skins.

''Sshhh!!''Sanchari flashed her torch and glared angrily at Risha who was still rubbing her elbow from the impact of the blow.

''Err Sorry!''she replied back sheepishly to the five pair of eyes who looked at her.They set their minds on the mission again,trying to hide the sound of their feet on the wooden flooring.

''How do you know which is her room?''Aanchal whispered urgently.

''Simply enough-the one connected with the master washroom!!''Jayita's huge grin could be seen even in pitch darkness.Twixy and Risha giggled ,their attempts at trying to control their tickled ribs failed miserably.Aanchal merely rolled her eyes and muttered a silent ''what-the prayer''

''Can we get on already?Carrying this huge box is taking a toll on my old creaky bones''Nabila sighed.

And truly enough,between the six of them they were literally dragging some looming black thing.

''Sancho seriously can we know what is in there?''asked Jayita longingly,trying to pry open the purple ribbon.

''Nope Jazzy no chance''grinned Sanchari ,flashing her eyes at Aanchal.

''No worries Jazzy,patience pays-after all we are iss pyaar ko kya naam doon viewers aren't we?''reasoned Risha jokingly.

''Ok anything for Neha I guess''Jazzy brushed away the few strands from her face and got back to pushing the box.

''I don't get why we couldn't have possibly asked someone to get this thing inside?I mean its so hot in here''Twixy fanned herself,despite the wind blowing across.

''My dear Twixu it wouldn't have been a surprise if we would have had asked someone to do it for us not to mention so much fun!!''Shanika said,optimisticly.

''Neha better have a good snack ready for me.My stomach is grumbling.''Nabila mentioned casually not realising she had just sent six other stomachs grumbling too.

''Now no one speaks until we get there.''Sanchari commanded,secretly dreaming of the appetising aroma of chicken biryani.

''Aye aye Captain!!'' yelled all of them cheerfully before immediately shushing each other down.

Neha sat on her study table,trying to keep herself awake.She couldn't believe she was stuck on completing assignments just a few minutes before her birthday.

''Neha stop dreaming and get to work right now!!!''she admonished herself,trying to be cheerful.
Truthfully though she wondered if this was going to be her most boring birthday ever.Her best friend was out of town and even if she called her-it wouldn't be the same as cutting the cake at midnight would it?
Grumbling away she got back to Newton,who was in no mood to give her a birthday treat.

''Finally!!!''Jayita plopped on the box which stood outside the closed room much to the annoyed whispers of Aanchal and Sanchari.

''Jazzy!!''

''Get up!!!''

Back inside the room,Neha rubbed her eyes and glanced at the clock.

''11:55 already?''she yawned and got up from her chair.

''Time to visit Daya I guess''she chuckled and proceeded to enter her washroom.

''Hush!Maybe she is asleep!''Nabila whispered and slowly turned the bedroom handle.They crowded in front of the door with bated breath.

''And there we go!''she swung the door open.

Silence.Newton glared at them from the study table and pointed towards the bathroom door.
All of them looked at the sliver of light appearing from a slit in the closed door.

''Just like Nehu to be in the washroom minutes before her birthday!''Twixy giggled.

''What's a better chance?Let's move it in!''said Sanchari.

Seven pairs of hands pushed the huge box inside the room somehow,huffing and puffing all throughout.They stopped when the Box stood almost in the middle of the room.

''What do we do now?''Risha questioned.

''Wait I guess?''Aanchal glanced at the ticking clock on the opposite wall.

Neha finished her errr...job and the sound of a flush working came from the washroom.

''Now is the time!''Nabila mentioned.

Neha opened the washroom door yawning away

''Gosh!I am so sleep...''

For a moment she was stunned,her first what-the moment of her nineteenth year indeed!She glanced around to see all her friends crowding the effectively purple room-Jazzy Shanky Twixy Rishu Sancho Anchi Nabzy,all of them sung at the top of their voices.

A tiny tear gathered in Neha's eye-not because their voices sounded worse than the cat in the backyard but because they had come for her.

"NEHAAA!!!!!"After a moment of silence all of them rushed to hug her until she suffocated.Friends,either you can't live without them or they suffocated you to death!!

"muhhfffmuggg!!"Neha's muffled voice made them all scatter back.
After the mad cheerful greetings her eyes lingered on the huge box they had between them.

''No No Nehu not so soon!!Firstly the cake my dear!''Shanika winked a placed a huge chocolate cake on the table.

Twixy and Risha lit up the candles as Neha still wondered if she was dreaming or not.Aanchal creeped behind her and gave her a pinch.

''OUCH!!!That hurt Aanchi''Neha frowned.

''Anything to get you back on earth Mi'lady!!''Aanchal grinned and prodded neha towards the table.

High and low tunes of Happy Birthday filled the room as the hall clock struck twelve times in jubiliation.Neha puffed up her lungs and blew the candles.What she wished for,was a secret- she knew it would either come true or would just rise up like the vapours of the candles.

"Cake!!!" Jayita's eyes sparkled and seven grumbling stomachs decided it was time to give up the polite act and show her the hogs they actually were!

"mhhmmm" Sanchari licked her lips relishing the chocolaty flavour.

"Can I open this now? Please??"Neha begged.She had been waiting to open it for like years.Ok not years,30 minutes hardly.

"Should we?"Anchal glanced at everyone and handed Neha a pair of ceremonial scissors.

She jumped upon the ribbon-literally hacking it to pieces and pushed open the box.What she saw inside left her gaping.

Right inside the box was a jacuzzi bath-with perfect white shiny interiors.And placed inside it were the various presents all of them had dished out for her-from chocolates to flowers to a purple dress from Prada.Neha stood awestruck

"A...a jacuzzi bath?For me?"she stammered.

"Yeah we figured we should give you something you could use"Risha said.

"You didn't like it?"Jayita asked concerned.

"L...Like it?...I LOVE IT!!!" Neha hugged each of them like they had just offered her a stay on Pluto free of cost.

"Unfortunately we couldn't get anyone...you know who could use..it with you"Nabila wittily mentioned sending them giggling.

"Who said she doesn't have anyone?"a masculine voice entered their ears.They looked towards the door,shocked.

Daya stood there with his hand resting upon the wooden frame.

Neha was disappointed,to be honest.She had hoped it would have been...someone else.
Actually not someone-she had dearly hoped it would have been him.

"Neha don't be disappointed I have the perfect gift for you today instead of breaking your door "chuckled Daya and stepped aside to reveal someone who smirked,enjoying the effect.

They all gaped and stared with their eyes goggled up and before any of them realised they were all screaming at the top of their voices.Neha stood shaking,No this couldn't be true.He can't,he wouldn't -I mean how?
Her questions were left unanswered and the only thing she saw was a particular man by the name of Barun Sobti standing right before her eyes in an immaculate white shirt and a perfect stubble.

This was like one of the bestest birthdays,ever.

eventually we would meet in the IPK topics and you came to the CLG. Twixy used to be very familiar with you and eventually we also became friends😆 And then me and Fatz invited all the CLG gang stress here and voila, shuru huyi humari dosti.

I fell in love with a beautiful person between the nok jhoks and laughs and jokes ( I know how many times you guys have choried my line, kya karein?)
