Its not just this show lol but this is how indian television shows are shown.. Well most of them yes cuz directors find this way is the easiest way to make the scene so dramatic and interesting while movies are shown differently than tv shows. I dont even notice it anymore cuz we r so used to it.. Been watching like this since so many years.. Thats how they make money! Oh and TRP

I did not feel indira's frustration or pain...Indira's pain was a lot more clearly shown around the time Rishi's identity was revealed or when the first Indian marriage went awry...here...it seemed like a casual affair...jaise ki samaan kho gaya ho...

I am not sure if these smaller details can be rectified...Hope they do

Oh..ok! That makes a lot of sense. Actually, I did not attribute this choppiness to sloppy directing because I was busy making my own adjustments with the changed characters in the show. And after the rape track, I had honestly stopped looking out for 'moments' that would hold you because I was caught up in trying to keep up with the alterations. Needless to say, the old HD had loads of moments that would 'hold' the audience.

I attributed the disconnect that you spoke about to the sudden change in the characters themselves. I felt that the actors are still trying to cope with their changed on-screen personas. For instance, Inder might still be dealing with how not to be a hypocrite. Indira is still dealing with transforming into a non-Hitler. Vidhit is still dealing with becoming a traitor (if that IS indeed the case). Rishi - I guess is perpetually trying to find out who and what he is in any given moment.

Munna is still constant in his character and is, therefore, still relatable. The others are still struggling to fit in their new skin.

But the points you made make a lot of sense. A new director and his new vision will obviously have a new impact 😊 And a fresh set of casualties, such as unconvincing performances and each one having individual interpretations of a scene or moment instead of everyone being in tandem. The cracks in the scene are bound to show. They are showing.
