This heroine type disappeared after a few films, and resurfaced recently when she was spotted at a filmi do in the city. When asked about what's happening on the work front, she gave the standard reply that most out-of-work actors dish out. "I am looking at something interesting, but it's too early to talk about it right now. I'd rather wait for the producers to announce the film," she said awkwardly.

Well, this statement was immediately picked up by this catty wife of a much-respected film producer, who tried to embarrass the starlet. "So, it means that no film announcement will be made for another year right, because that's how long it will take to really find a film," the producer-wife smirked, leaving the heroine red-faced. The lady was about to launch into another round of verbal attack, when sensing the tension, the host stepped in and steered the producer's wife away.

Last heard, the starlet was still smarting over the rude comments, and has now decided to not step out till she actually bags a film to brag about. That's a smart move we guess. At least, it saves her the embarrassment of having to lie.
