Is it me - or is it just the fact that Ithink Pratigya has justified herself.. I kind of like to read between the lines then focus on the picture infront only.
I am not a Pratigya Shipper... But I do think the harshness towards her character is a bit overstretched..(Similarly to how it is towards another character of this show). But I'm not questioning anyones POV..
Everyone is entitled to their own POV.. and is not answerable to anyone OR to justify it.
But I thought let's see if the CV's have really killed P's character.. So I went and watched part of last nights epi.
I'm not saying that women should flaunt themselves at men to get what they need from them.
But if we look at the serial as a show rather than reality...(Though in reality these things do happen aswell).
I personally felt she justified herself...

First she said... You are a wife and mother (Meaning she's an experienced woman..who can keep herself in control of her Maryada). She is not expecing Kesar to go out of any limits.
Secondly she said ... He'll already be drunk... so it will be easier, Joota pyaar ka natak dikha ke (Meaning go up to him as though u are interested in him) and apni BATON se (Yes Baton se - not Hathon se, Jism se) trick him.
So Pratigya has not given her any indication to get physical. So I think she has justified herself.
Besides she did say - that I won't allow anything to happen to you.
Kesar - Has followed this advise and yet has remained within the Maryada...
By now if it had been somebody like Meneka - Raadhe ki izzath would be gone by now.đ
Somedays ago.. she mentioned beauty and using that to her advantage. That term sounds wrong... but what she meant situationally it was not a derogatory remark. If she was ugly then Raadhe would not come within a mile of her.. But the fact is as she is looking pretty.. she can get close enough to just get the truth from him.
You have to rem, KST's hands are tied. He has to look after his family... they are showing a different side to Krishna, who can be a Dabaang and also a sensitive caring man. (Though I know - I prefer to see him in action too) BUT.. this is portrayal of Krishna's survival without Pratz and being able to uphold his household.
And rem these guys are desperate, they're living in a Adda... Can their life get any worse? Pratz.. is willing to go to an extreme to help her family. This is no longer time for standing in one place and dishing bashan's.. so she's taking some action. The only thing with this not fitting in MKAP is that - This is a very repeated storyline and the ladies who were once seen with a Pallu on their head are handing drinks by hand to the society's low life's at early hours of the morning.
According to the above, if my disection is correct - then I don't think Pratigya's character has been slaughtered but mildly dented only in my POV.
This is just My Pov, based on parts of last nights epi only on what Pratigya meant and the actions that were therefore taken.
(Not on a personal POV).
