👏 Very well said...it's not IPL's responsibility to make Pakistani players rich...Let PCB worry about that... 😛 I am sure PCB is not sitting around thinking of ways to make Indian players rich... 😛Guys
Drop this. Regardless of what one may wish, it ain't gonna happen! No sane franchise is going to sink cash on Paki players since they would always be unsure about whether those players would be allowed to come to India - be it either by Islamabad or by New Delhi. So accept the fact that they played their part to the extent they could in the BPL, and just enjoy the IPL the way it is now: as far as IPL goes, Paki participation in it is history. Also, being a great international test, F50 or even T20 player is no guarantee that they will click here. Pollard, despite being a superstar in the IPL and for T&T, struggles when he plays for WI, Shaun Marsh, who topped the IPL last year (b4 the qualifiers) had a miserable track for Australia since, while Graemae Smith and Sangakarra have never done well in the IPL, despite being great test players for their countries. As it is, only 4 foreign players are allowed in any match, so the real strength of the teams lies in their Indian bench strength. Best illustration of it is Deccan Chargers - they were a great side when they started, not b'cos of Gilchrist, Gibbs, Symonds and Vaas, but b'cos of Rohit Sharma, Laxman, Venugopal Rao, Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh. While they've let all of them go, they've not got any replacements, so when they have to shuffle their foreign players, they don't have good domestic replacements.
