So I have been feeling this for a long time...have you guys noticed that the manner in which Arpita died is never discussed in the show? At first I thought it might be childbirth, but she referred to both daughters in one of the memories so she was obviously alive after both Payal and Palak were born.

I have a feeling Arpita was murdered by someone from the Scindiya family...possibly Gayatri, though I dont' think that's true since it'd be too obvious and expected. Maybe Buaji or Daddy Scinidya? But even they are a bit expected.

What do you guys feel in regards to Arpita's death? Do you think it was an accident or was she murdered? If she was murdered...by whom?

Do you know who the MOST unexpected murderer would be?

Vidhi.😲 Somehow, though she's nice and all, something about her seems off to me. Her and Pankaj definitely have issues in their relationship, and she seems too much like the perfect daughter-in-law. Maybe she killed Arpita by accident, and has been living with that guilt since then. Or maybe she killed her on purpose because of a sinister motive. Or maybe she's not involved at all and I'm just overthinking things.🤔😆

If this was CID, Yash would be #1 suspect.😆

Haha wow yeah now that's a thought. Hm, I don't know. I don't think Arpita was murdered. Now I may be over thinking things, but maybe Arpita did something wrong. Like have an affair with someone else or something. And possibly, like you mentioned, Gayatri or her husband could've been responsible for it. And Yash just refuses to believe it all, or maybe he doesn't know she was murdered.

But your idea would definately add some spice to the show. It'll show that Arpita and Prashant's love wasn't real, and that Aarti and Yash were meant to be. Basically, Arpita and Prashant just weren't good enough for AarYa.

i dont think arpita was murdered

i think maybe some accident or something

im more inclined towards a health issue coz she asked yash to promise her to move on in life as if she know she would not be there for his entire lifetime

Well if Arpita was murdered, then it wouldn't mean that her love wasn't real...it's just that she and Yash were not soulmates, though the love they shared was strong.

But if Arpita had an affair like you said, then yeah, Yash was better off without her, but somehow I don't think she was the cheating type. That'd make her too similar to Prashant and it'd be repetitive to use the same scenario with her. The difference between Aarti's loss and Yash's loss is that Aarti lost the love of her life to another woman, where Yash lost the love of his life to death...it's a different kind of loss. Aarti would feel more bitterness and anger towards Prashant than sorrow, whereas Yash would feel only sorrow.

That could be a possibility too, that she had a health issue like terminal cancer, but I think doing a murder plot would give the show more TRPs, and also shed some light on the other characters...it would also be more interesting.

agree with you, it could be an accident. I don't think anyone in Yash's house would have gone to such an extend to kill Arpita.

May be she had some issues with her in laws which didn't tell to Yash.

Okay maybe Arpita didn't cheat. But I feel like she did something wrong. Or at least I want it to be like that. I don't want her to be the perfect wife that Yash loves, because I think that should be Aarti. And maybe Yash just doesn't want to accept that fact that the wife he loves so much could do anything wrong.

But Arpita dying from an illness does seem like a probable reason. I just wish it's not. Yash is so caught up with memories of Arpita, and no matter how much love Aarti gives him, he'll never forget Arpita. He'll always know in the back of his mind that Arpita loves him more than anything, and if she was alive, he'd still be with her. Now for Aarti, she knows she has no chance with Prashant. She's accepted her faith and that she has every right to move on and love another person. Yash, however, will always feel the guilt that he's in a way "cheating" on Arpita. Which is why I hope that Arpita isn't perfect--that she did do something that was worthy of disapproval from Yash.

wow yaar kya thought hai...actually i was thinking too...and i guess murder never came across my mind...but hhmmm i think it could be the buaji...i mean i think she got jealous seeing their perfect relationship...or maybe yash and arpita got in an accident...and her body was never found..but maybe in the future she comes back into the storyline

Aww, I hope Arpita does not come back, because that'd be really sad. As much as I love ArYa together, Arpita would have first right over Yash, since Aarti is his second wife, and that's something I can understand. It would cause complications betwee the whole family.
