Dharmendra, Shabana get Padma Awards

He got it rather late. Considering his long career and list of hits even when he was in 50s, he should have got it long ago. Well deserved honour.😊

I love him as a star, but his personal life is spicier than all masalas of Catch & MDH put together!😆

Shabana ji getting her due after a long time. Good. But I believe she would have not been what she is, had Smita Patil been alive. Smita was a far better actress, more bold and gutsy and was a firebrand even in social causes, than this lady. Smita died and Shabana remained the only ''actress''.

He was clever. He and Hema converted to Islam so that he could keep both wives. Dharam's post Islam conversion name was Dilawar Khan.

Dharmendra used religion in a big way. He was a Sikh by birth. He changed his name, cut his hair and all to enter Bollywood. Later he converted to Islam when he wanted to marry Hema (without divorcing his first wife). Now he lives in front of the world as Dharmendra (Dharam Singh Deol & Dilawar Khan have been relegated to background after getting his way through things in life). He lives with his first wife now and occasionally visits Hema and daughters - particularly present at main important events in their lives.
