sometimes i fail to understand how and whence do you bring such unfounded rumors to create entertainment amidst your friends.. good job... these days Ronit is in Thailand for shooting of SOTY and we being daily getting updated with news of him by Karan Johar and other stars but so far we did not get to listen about this incident .. looks like Author of this article is the biggest detractor of Ronit Roy who posted such rubbish..

Ronit's drunken behaviour incident happened during the shoot of "Midnight's Children" in Srilanka last year. Kindly read the hints properly -SOTY is not an International multistarrer. This unfounded rumour must've been created by the "sources close to the renowned director" a.k.a Deepa Mehta..how else they can get back at him for his reckless attitude?? Also Somen Mishra is very close to Anurag Kashyap who produced Udaan. He must've heard few quotes on Ronit from AK too. So there must be some truth to these rumours. Anyways, good for him if he has turned sober. He is indeed a talented actor.

Whoa.

I find this hard to believe too but yes, there have been incidents where there have been problems due to his drinking. I can just hope that this report is false..

All the best for Midnight's Children, Ronit! I am sure you've given a fabulous performance..

And for those saying he paid off cops in the accident case, he recently clarified that the case is on against him.

@ Vik : please relax and calm down.. this is not a personal attack on RR just something someone wrote about him and that too in a veiled fashion. Don't get so hyper about it. You and me cannot change anything. Just hope for the best. Also this shoot happened before the accident, I am sure things have changed since then.
