I liked them in KH and since I haven't seen AV--I shall not comment on that. But I don't think their chemistry has anything to do with the film not working. I think most critics appreciated their acting, but thought the script was weak.

To be completely unbias, I personally think Saifreena has more chemistry ONscreen than Abhi-Aishu, but I think the scripts Abhi-Aishu have done together are better than the ones Saifreena have done.

Since Saif and Kareena are individually very strong actors and great at comedy--they should maybe do a romantic comedy, hopefully an Imitiaz one since both Kareena and Saif thrive when they work with him. I know Desu would be thrilled to see her favs in a full-out romance.😆

It's a know conundrum, real life couples rarely make great on-screen couples. At the same time, people want to see them together in a movie.

It's because of the expectation, people expect a certain level of chemistry between them. And when that doesn't match, it's all downhill. Also, there's so much off-screen footage/talks/articles on these couples that there's not much left to be seen or discussed. Ergo, nothing fresh to look forward to. Hence, the thanda turnout. My humble opinion.

I would still like them to do more movies together (Yet to see AV).Maybe if it was Kareena in LAK, or Saif in JWM, then people would have had a different perspective on the two as a couple. Hope they find a good script, where there is a scope of a romance between them. They were good in Kurban.. can't say the same about the script.

No they shouldn't not just yet I think they have potential the chemistry side to them hasn't been fully explored. Given an appropriate track n script I think it would come out.
