Doodh Ka Karz (1990) is a VIP member of the cheese club. This is a movie where Aruna Irani breastfeeds a snake which becomes indebted to her (hence the title) for life. And while she does that, the background chorus goes "Dooodh ka karz, dooodh ka karz...". 🤪The snake has unusually strong memory - it remembers the villain's necklace for years (this is important later on) as well as its "doodh ma" (Aruna) and "doodh brother" (Aruna's biological son, a sapera played by Jackie Shroff). And that's not all. It helps out its human family many times. For years it waits, silently brooding until the movie allows the villains to re-enter the lives of the snake and its human family.
In fact, the snake appears to have abilities beyond mortal snakes, such as being able to unlock doors and leap tall buildings in a single bound. Ok not tall buildings but it is able to leap across a room to attack the villains. And if that's not enough, it gathers an entire army of leaping snakes to take down the villains. All this to repay the karz of Aruna's breastfeeding. 😆
