Hope...🤗...I agree about what Aditya was trying to say! But...I think Priya was trying to say that he was comparing apples and oranges...not oranges from India with those from...let's say...Peru! 😆 Her point was that Brahma had not really ever behaved like a Father! That said, like you, I would love to see Priya confront Devyani...about not standing up for the rest of them and always getting caught in Brahma's web!
Hey Jaya🤗
I guess what I am saying is that the way Priya feels that Adi is not understanding her I too feel that Priya is not understanding him.
I agree that her point was that Brahma had not really ever behaved like a Father. the point I say she does not understand is that Brahma may not have behaved like a father to her but he sure as hell behaved like a father to Adi so in that respect Adi's relationship with his father based on their personal relationship all through childhoold and his adulthood (except till Priya's disclosure) was pretty much the same relationship that Priya had shared with her father through her childhood and adulthood. apples to apples. both parent child relationships were based on love, trust and reliability (when the spouses were not part of the equation). mentally he may have distanced himself but instinctively it is difficult to erase or not respond to over 20 years of love received. Priya is acting with mental and moral fortitude right now. Aditya is playing a balancing act with mental fortitude and instinctive emotions.
Priya does not get it because she is not trying to see from Adi's point of view. She is still thinking from her own view point which is why they are never aligned. she expects him to think about her pain and understand it without coming halfway (inspite of her misgivings) to understand the crossroad he is standing at.
understanding must go both ways for trust and a true relationship to be built.
I expect so much more sensitivity from Priya to situations and emotional state of people around her and yet I am not getting it from this character of late. she seems robotic, repetitive and detached.
I know I seem to support Adi a lot because I can understand him in a logical fashion. His reactions seem normal for a man. Her reactions throw me off though as a wife and even as a woman sometimes.
Devyani just has a screwloose. there is no solution there.
SJ better have a permanent toolkit at his bed side for this nut job
