Viviek Oberoi - Vishal has an excellent.

Reminiscent of his enthusiasm during his COMPANY days, Viviek is coming back again with his perfectionist zeal. In Vishal's Bharadwaj's OMKARA, adaptation of Othello, which is set against the rustic backdrop of Bihar, Viviek essays the character of Casio, who is named 'KESU FIRANGI' in the Hindi adaptation.

In the film there is a sequence where 'KESU FIRANGI' strums the guitar. Viviek wanted to get so much into character that he started learning to play the guitar. His musician friend used to travel all the way to Wai, near Mahableshwar, to give Viveik guitar lessons.

It may be recalled that Viviek did something similar to get into the skin of a character when he went into the slums and did his homework and a couple of week later barged into Ram Gopal Varma's office dressed as 'Chandu', swung his feet up the table and landed the role in COMPANY, his debut film.

Says Vishal Bharadwaj, "Viviek is a very dedicated actor. He started learning to play the guitar only to get into character for the sequence in the film. He has done a fabulous job in OMKARA!" No wonder there is a big buzz since he is coming back with Ajay Devgan in a realistic set up after COMPANY.

Viviek is going back to his old avtaar during his COMPANY days and is becoming less accessible. According to sources he would prefer that his performance does the talking and would be available only when the films would be releasing, in line with the strategy adapted by numerous other actors.

Says Viviek, "I would rather let my work speak for itself. I am looking forward to OMKARA, more so because Vishal Bharadwaj has an excellent vision!"

Those who have seen the rushes of the film are raving that Viviek is gonna be the surprise package of the film. He also seems to have the highest regard for Ajay Devgan and considers him like his elder brother. Viviek also raves about Saif's performance which as per him is mind-blowing. Viviek also seems to be sure that OMKARA will make it four hits in a row for him and Ajay Devgan 'jodi' after Company, Masti and Kaal.
