AarYa: Popcorn , Pariwaar aur Gaddha.
Hi!
How many of you think and feel that Aarti was at her kindest behavior with PP and her sweetest behavior with Yash? How many of you feel that Yash looked at Aarti as the personified mom of his little princesses like never before? How many of you feel that if any bystander saw Yash playing with PPA and balloons in the pre-last scene , they wouldn't be able to tell that Ansh is not Yash's blood? I did.
Today, we saw a leap and a step forward in Yash, Aarti and AarYa as well to some extent. Yash , for a change realized that Aarti's silence was a bigger killer than his own. So , he broke the awkward attraction-repulsion tension between them by offering her to buy popcorn that he had just ruined. Yash didn't scold or chide his daughters over Mommy-Papa-Quiz pull. He almost said it to his daughters that Aarti is their new mom. Aarti's presence made him conscious and he looked at her as though for the permission to call her the same. And almost as though Aarti is skilled at this already, she completed his sentence like a silk route as she told PP tenderly – "I am your new Mama." Just the way Aarti said it, there was something so compassionate and motherly about it , that PP almost fell in love with their new pretty-pretty Mom. Who wouldn't? Remember , everyone falls in love with Aarti. For a change, Yash was not moving around with a sunken arrogant balloon-ish face refusing to look at Aarti. He looked at her straight in the eye when the popcorn shower happened, when the Mom-Dad-tussle happened , when the bowling game was on. His look was not of questions or confusion – the look was of hope as though saying – " She is beautiful on the inside and perhaps she is the one missing in PP's life." Yes, Yash was seeing a compassionate glowing mother in Aarti , not a woman. Yash doesn't love Aarti or even consider a heartbeat for her – but he respects her and her compassion stirs something tender inside him. If you don't believe me , watch his face when he sees Aarti combing Palak's hair. To Yash, Aarti is respectful and an ideal maternal figure he has only read about in books.
Aarti , on the other hand had the daggers of her brilliant fiery eyes under check. For a change, and maybe on an experiment to give herself and Yash a chance, she was not hating on him, she was not judging him, she was not seeing a carnal lecherous monster in him and she was not throwing her vintage attitude on him. She was nice to him, even though mostly via three angelic channels called PPA. Actually, if you think about it, Aarti had no reason to hate Yash today. He was a thorough gentleman to her – picking up her clutch, offering to buy her another bucket of popcorn, taking care of Ansh, treating PPA alike, giving Aarti the respect and position of PP's mother , standing miles away from her and not even trying to initiate a conversation with her. Aarti , involuntarily fell in line with his respectful and distant behavior. The way she handled and tackled Yash's push-pull between PPA, handled the three little brats with such a water spray of love, maturity and tenderness , called Yash as Ansh's father and herself as PP's mother , eased the tension between PPA. How can you not expect Yash to be impressed and touched by her virgin heart and her perfection? This is the Aarti that Yash is looking for and this is our Aarti. A placid calm lake with beautiful deep blue waters. The sharks come in only when Disco Maansi disturbs the water.
AarYa were like two halves of a love story – knowing that they complete each-other and that they are meant to walk together but still sticking to their respective poles. Because they feel those divergent poles are their safe reality as they have no right to dream, love or hope again.
Aur ufff! Friggin' gaddhaa! Don't tell me that Aarti ki nazar mein phir se Yash ka character dheela ho jaayega. Itni bade-badee tarbooz jaisi aankhon se agar use ab bhi woh manhole aur caution ka board nahiin dikha, Yash should push her back into that gaddha and take PPA home. Lol. Anyway, typical situation but their awkward situation and their chemistry washes away all the typical situations. The best part was when the stole slipped down her eyes and she saw Yash. Aur dekho apna Yash tameez ki dukaan hai – he tried warning her but Aartiji was too lost to hear him. Phir to Yash ko uske gale padna hi tha na!
As for the rest of the episode, PPA were so innocent and bratty but all said and done , they will make tangy siblings and they both love AarYa. PP ko apni nayi 'mama' pasand hai. Pari's parents are cultural shock to Aadiwaasi Dad and Daaku Mom and you have to watch their faces when Pari's father gives champagne in shagun. Hilarious but meaningful at the same time. Aur Disco Maansi ko liquid oxygen mein daalo! ABHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't miss the entire AarYa-PPA sequence , the champagne and chaai hangaama and of course the gaddha scene.
P.S- Yash's attitude is so 'Aarti' when Ansh is telling Aarti to say thank you to him. Yash's expression is like – " Am waiting. Say thank you!" Haha.
Love and luck always,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗
