I am so glad you wrote something for today's episode, because while watching the episode and its sheer brilliance I was really looking forward to reading your take on it! And epic episode like this deserved an epic analysis like yours because you truly have this talent of writing exactly what is going on my head but in a much more eloquent manner which makes me super happy!
I loved how you started off with those series of questions, I found myself nodding my head to all of them, you have basically captured the essence and underlying beauty of the entire episode and what it foreshadows in those questions! Like you said, what I loved most about this episode was how beautifully Aarti bonded with Payal and Palak. She is truly a natural born mother, and knows just the right way to deal with every situation. I am sure Payal and Palak will fall completely in love with her in no time! [As a side note, I really feel that Kratika was made to play the role of a mother, she is so freaking good at it!] Just the way she spoke to them with so much sincerity, warmth, care and love that to any bystander it would look like she was their mother! It took her absolutely no time to get comfortable with the girls and win their trust to some extent. The smile on the girls' faces as she interacted with them highlighted today for the first time just how much they need a mother in their life, because while Yash is a wonderful father, girls always need a mother in their lives, and I am sure that once she becomes a permanent factor in their life, she will quickly dispel all their fears and uncertainty regarding that they might have about the new relationship!
I also found it interesting how Yash paused right before telling the girls what Aarti was going to become their new mother because it wasn't his own uncertainty or awkwardness in dealing with the situation, but rather it was because he had no idea where Aarti really stood as far as his daughters were concerned. He has already embraced and accepted the role of being Ansh's dad from the minute Ansh referred to him as his naye papa on the engagement day, but because of the communication barrier he has no idea is Aarti is just as willing to accept the role of being a mother to Payal and Palak. So him stopping and looking at her was his request for an answer from her, and she delivered. She not only dispelled all his questions, but eased all his worries and concerns as far as his daughters were concerned. Seeing his true smile as he saw her deal with his girls in the way he was never able to was so heartening! With every second he spends with Aarti he feels more and more confident that he has made the right decision, and to see the fear and uncertainty in him melt into a sense of contentment and relaxation after watching the three of them interact was truly amazing. Because Yash knows that there are certain places that he lacks as a parent, that no matter how hard he tries he cannot take place of both the father and the mother in Payal and Palak's life, so to see someone like Aarti come in and immediately start putting things in order in the chaotic and uncertain life of his girls, he probably feels like he can breathe again now that he has someone who is capable of loving and caring for his daughters just like he is.
Another remarkable thing about Aarti today was how she was able to deal with all three kids without leaving any of them out, she already has a great sense of how to divide the time and attention between the kids, and while there will a be a few hiccups in the beginning, she'll quickly adapt to going from being a mother of one to being a mother of three, and hopefully that will make Gayatri happy. But really, watching these 5 on the screen together for the first time was really everything I had wanted to see in their first meeting. It was very naturally executed, and kids were the real heroes today, from being angry with each other in the beginning, to showing the first hints of jealousy as their mom/dad interacted with the other kid(s), to being utterly cute together in that balloon sequence! What this episode basically highlighted was that these 5 will have many issues and hurdles that they're going to have to overcome as they learn to live with each other, but at the end of the day they're all absolutely perfect together combined with all their imperfections! It's not going to be as simple as it was today because this was just the first meeting, but going through all the good and bad times together like a family will make them come even closer to each other and the love that will end up growing between them will definitely be one to see!
Lastly, Yash saving Aarti, can't say much about that, except I am so freaking in love with it. A full blown catch and fall with Yash completely falling on top of her, I mean I was NOT expecting that. And that BG score, really I fall for it more and more with each passing episode, it is so freaking perfect and it makes these AarYa moments 50 times more perfect. I think my favorite part was when Yash's hand instinctively went under her head just before she touched the concrete, it just reiterates what Shobha said in Tuesday's episode, he already has this feeling of protectiveness over him and he doesn't even realize it! And all this in just one week from seeing each other [actually just 2 or 3 days in serial time], so Yash ji you better be careful, because at this rate you'll end up falling for her hook line and sinker and not even realize it, because it really will be interesting to see how long he'll be able to keep those walls up once he starts seeing her become the perfect loving mother to his kids. The peace and contentment that she will bring in his life will definitely pave way for love, and it's going to be Aarti's beautiful heart that Yash will ultimately end up falling for!
