How can a marriage of 2 punjabi familes take place in a mandir. This show resembles everything of punjab and even has Rusty's grandfather as a 100 percent sardar. Last time i checked sardar's don't get married in a mandir. Shouldn't it be taking place in a gurdwara. How Kandy's and Yuvraj's marriage take place in a mandir?

I am from the Punjabi culture and that is a big blooper marriage if you are punjabi or else should I say a sikh are only counted vaild if they happened in a Gurduwara infront of the Granth Sahib (holy book)

and you're right this serial depicts everything of a sikh family they went all the way with making the dada a complete sardar and an earlier episode of the show had showed Baoji and Baldev coming face to face in a gurduwara and Baldev had said since he is in a gurduwara he will spare him(if you remember it was the first time Baoji met Rusty and also when she questioned the Panchiat and biji)

then here we are now watching Kandy and Yuvraj getting married in a mandir a big blooper by the creative head 😆 😆 I wonder if Ekta mai had anything to do with this 😆 😆

P.S. if my comments regarding the mandir hurt anyone here who is a hindu then I apologise as I did not mean to come off as rude or disrespectful, I was just trying to clear a misunderstanding 😳 😳 😳 Sowwy 😳

I too am half Sikh and i was wondering the same thing. I don't understand how every one in the family wears sindoor. Nor do i understand why is the marriage happening in a mandir. Gosh why don't they resreach these small things better.

yah they shouldn't ahve done the marriage in a mandir. more research is needed. but as bastereliye said, they are probably gettin married in a mandir due to the secrecy. we'll see how they perform the real marriage. i hpe thye do it in a gurdwara.
