Not to make the same mistakes over and over again. The problem with Iccha is that she wants everyone to like her. If they don't, she keeps on trying and trying to please them, sacrificing the wishes of people who actually DO like her in the way. She needs to learn that no matter how good and meek you are, some people just WILL NOT like you. no matter what you do. The sooner she accepts this, the happier she will be.

From the moment she got engaged to Veer, she was made aware that Mai and Daddaji do not like her. Mai is a manipulative person, she's only nice to you if she needs you for something (Making Vansh feel better etc.) That does not mean she actually likes Iccha. She never has and never will. Daddaji, for all his great speeches, is completely Mai's puppet. Umed is slightly sensible (at least till now) but Iccha should have realized that his help is useless, he has no say in the household.

So in a situation like this, what will any sane girl do, especially he she has her husband's support to live separately? Listen to him and leave the family. Iccha should have realized that they will never be happy living with the family, considering they all do not like her. God gives you problems, but he also gives you chances to make your problems a little lesser. He gave Iccha several chances. She was dumb enough to not take any of them.

People like Mai an Daddaji are like poisonous snakes. No matter how nice you are to them and all that, they'll only bite you in the end. It's in their nature, you can't expect anything better from them. God helps only those who help themselves is a saying Iccha needs to understand. She keeps on staying in a death trap and is surprised when they hit out at her. Why?

When Mai was found out, and Veer wanted to leave, WHY DID SHE STOP HIM???? Mai had sunk so low, how could she bear to stay in the same house with her? She can just leave and live happily with Veer na? But she not only persuaded Veer to stay, she also brought Mai back. Now she's surprised Mai is behaving badly once again? Arre, who gave her a chance once again? Iccha did.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I really think Iccha should stop now. I feel really sorry for her, but she brought this upon herself with her own hands. Now at least she should stand up for herself and take steps to make her life better. Only she can do it, not anyone else. She has to stop thinking someone will come and make things better.

@ uttaranfanfoe... Very reasonable post.👏👏.. I agree with you absolutely. Especially the part in bold.. This is the gyan given in Srimad Bhagavatham saying that it is the nature of the scorpion to sting and we should not expect anything else from it and should stay away for our own safety. Life's lessons are to be learnt by observing everything around us and drawing the correct conclusions about how to live our life instead of trying to please everybody no matter what at our own peril. Ichcha should have left the B house with Veer long ago.

Wonderful thoughts ..@uttaranfanfoe, you have hit the root cause of all problems in uttaran...👏

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results":...very well said..that's the real take away!

She is lucky to have met Veer who stood by her!! but as you said she may run out of her good karma very soon...if she doesn't learn from her mistakes & experiences.

Oh boy that post is so true...

Iccha does not learn from her mistakes and wants to be all things to all people... Someone needs to impress on her its better to be respected than loved...

Thanks guys for agreeing.. I really like the forum here filled with smart people and nice discussions.. 😃

I think Iccha learnt this from Damini who is another character unable to remove herself from a bad place. We all know Divya is dumb, but she is obviously insecure with Damini staying there. Why not just leave? I know Divya only begged her once, but Damini is a smart lady.. she knows Divya changes faster than a chameleon.. She should have politely refused. All problems would have been solved.
