So I was always amused at how bollywood only respects so-called "A-listers". Mind you, being an A-lister has absolutely nothing to do with being a good actor or doing good movies. What do you think it takes to become an A-lister in bollywood? Take a look at all the "A-listers" in bollywood.

Shahrukh Khan: Media wh**e

Kareena Kapoor: Media wh**e

Shahid Kapoor: A-lister's wh**e

Saif Ali Khan: A-lister's wh**e/Fake an accent. Fake not knowing Hindi.

Priyanka Chopa: A-lister's wh**e/Fake an accent. Fake not knowing Hindi.

Katrina Kaif: A-lister's wh**e/Fake an accent. Fake not knowing Hindi.

Salman Khan: Everybody's wh**e

Siddhart Mallaya: A-lister's wh**e

Deepika Padukone: Media wh**e/ A-lister's wh**e

Ranbir Kapoor: Wh**e

Any thoughts on how else to become an A-lister in bollywood?

Media wh**e.

Most of these so called A-listers have terrible box office record. But they do one thing right. Suck up to the right people. Have great PR. Journalist friends, parties, stay in the news. In sight, in mind.
Case in point. Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Bachchans.

Relationship

This is picking up quite a bit. Two B listers get together in a relationship. Sign brands together, make appearances, pictures, Page 3 Parties and then stay together, even if the relationship is over, for the sake of the money and career.
Case in point : John Abraham, Bipasha Basu.

The Bachchans are considered big stars even though none of the three have had a legit hit since 2008.
While guys like Emraan Hashmi are no where to be seen even after featuring in 2 super hits just last year.
The Bachchan's keep creating news and controversies while Emraan keeps a low profile. In today's world perception is everything. As far as Bollywood is concerned, the media can make or break you.

omg Sunny Leone is going to be the biggest star in bollywood soon!! 🤢

1) Fake accent. Fake not knowing Hindi. --->she fakes not knowing hindi BIG TIME! she knows hard core punjabi words but not basic hindi words... i dont buy it!

2) Become a media wh**e ---> thats what BB5 was for... of course Mahesh Bhatt planned it!

3) Become a A-lister's wh**re ---> SHES A po*nSTAR!! shes the world's wh**re!

@ Guess_who: Exactly. and dont even get me started on the Bachans. But I do admit that both Ashwarya and Amitabh are worhty of being brands but Abhishek, errm not really 😆

and dont even get me started oin Emran Hashmi. WHATTHEf**k. He keeps giving back to back hits, CHARTBUSTER music and what not but he's still considered a B-grade actor. Why? Because he's not anyone's wh**e. Simple as that.

hows aish worthy of a brand? she became miss world. if her films bombed one after the other.. than she would of joined the ranks of lara and um sushmita.. ash scored salman and he made her. like he made kats. imo

Hmm. Miss World's were a big thing back then. and plus, she was BREATHAKINGLY beautiful. She was a true beauty queen, albeit a cold one. I dont think Salman made her (although the relationship totally brought her into the spotlight). I think she owes her success to herself and then to Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Her films did bomb one after the other.

She made it, because she has the strongest PR in the industry. Always in the news. Even today. Plus her relationship with Salman was extremely short lived.
