How can you become an A-Lister in bollywood?

So I was always amused at how bollywood only respects so-called "A-listers". Mind you, being an A-lister has absolutely nothing to do with being a good actor or doing good movies. What do you think it takes to become an A-lister in bollywood? Take a look at all the "A-listers" in bollywood.

Media wh**e.

Most of these so called A-listers have terrible box office record. But they do one thing right. Suck up to the right people. Have great PR. Journalist friends, parties, stay in the news. In sight, in mind.
Case in point. Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Bachchans.

Relationship

This is picking up quite a bit. Two B listers get together in a relationship. Sign brands together, make appearances, pictures, Page 3 Parties and then stay together, even if the relationship is over, for the sake of the money and career.
Case in point : John Abraham, Bipasha Basu.



The Bachchans are considered big stars even though none of the three have had a legit hit since 2008.
While guys like Emraan Hashmi are no where to be seen even after featuring in 2 super hits just last year.
The Bachchan's keep creating news and controversies while Emraan keeps a low profile. In today's world perception is everything. As far as Bollywood is concerned, the media can make or break you.

Her films did bomb one after the other.

She made it, because she has the strongest PR in the industry. Always in the news. Even today. Plus her relationship with Salman was extremely short lived.
