I am loving this topic. I have often wondered why Emraan Hashmi (who is HUGELY popular with the masses, you just have to witness a single screen theatre when his films are released) doesn't even get nominated for awards despite giving decent performances (or at least a thousand times better than some star betas and star gfs). Probably he doesn't pay the Filmfare chaps enough. Or maybe it is because he appeals to the common man and not to the fake-accent faker-bodies crowd.
