Hey, so there is some good news, Kavita Kaushik, meaning our very own Chandramukhi Chautala is not quitting FIR! The article is from a competitor website and it is not allowed to post links to or paste those articles here, so I am not doing that. But it says that she is not quitting. She had planned to but all her demands have been met and working days have been reduced, so she will continue to work in FIR.

Great news right? FIR would not have been the same without her. 😊

This is excellent excellent news. I would have hated FIR to lose CC/Kavita Kaushik.

I pretty sure i said that earlier... (in the Article: Kavita Kaushik leaving FIR or something like that Article)

I DID SAY THAT SHE SIGNED A NEW CONTRACT THIS EITHER IN 2012 OR 2011 FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEAR... but i wasn't sure at the point, guess i was right... :)

It is good news.

However, the news article does say that she had given the production house/Channel 5 months notice about her leaving (her contract required her to give only 2 months notice). And that she had done so for March 2012 in November of last year. However, they met with her and changed her hours and number of shooting days and she is happy to continue for now.

I am paraphrasing and not pasting the link since it's of a competing website.

Very Very true. I really have a tough time imagining the show without her central character. Basically the trio have a great onscreen chemistry and they (and the writer) have worked so hard to create this. Cos all the characters have evolved over time to their current great way of gelling.

It was a big relief to hear that she was not leaving.
