K got the whole family on the pretext of remarriage. That did not happen. On the other hand, he was expecting a grand child from K. He learns the K is infertile and that is not going to happen either. So he was in total shock and completely ignored K. Eventually he will come to his senses. As some one mentioned, P may play a part in bringing SS and Krishna together again.
