I have started to love Gurmeet when he portrayed the role of magnificent Maan Singh Khurana.. I never wanted Geet to end and wanted to watch it all the time.. It was such a sad feelings when I heard for the 1st time that Geet would end... I was thinking how would I survive without watching Geet...

Personally I believe that Gurmeet did phenomeal job to do that role. He did it so well that we forgot all the time that it is a fictional character. When Gurmeet's name comes in our mind the name MSK pops up..

If we forget him as Maan than I think it would not be that great as MSK is there to stay in our heart for ever..

But at the same time Gurmeet is an actor and he needs to play different roles and grow in his professional career...

But I must confess that watching Puner Vivah for last one week.. Yash has already started to make place in my heart.. It does not mean that MSK is not there it only means that Yash has been added with MSK... So the way MSK has grown in our heart and made a permanent place.. Yash will grow and make a place too..

As at the end of the day Gurmeet is playing the role of Yash.. and how can we doubt his ability not to make a place in our heart as Yash???

Of course some of his looks... his actions... his dialogue delivery will remind us of MSK as it is the same actor..playing the different character...

I have seen couple of movies of SRK and I always complain that he does not module his vioce per the character..

I think Gurmeet is doing a great job with modulations of his voice per the scenes..

Yes let's wait for the story to develop and Yash will be the household name..

Can you imagine it is only a week and he is appreciated already on the ZeeTV...and that is the 1st time he had enter such a widely populated network..

Bravo Gurmeet... love you so much for your dedication and your ability to give your all for your work...

Agree with you. Also you have met him.. . From your heart the 1 sorrow ni kal Gaya fro. Your heart ( you met GC so no more sorrow in your heart) am I right?

Ya we will never forgot MSK he will be in our hearts as always. And now Yash has make a place in our heart.

i think whatever little was shown of yash this week, he's going to be a character that will make his own place with the audience... i have already seen a lot of new people who haven't watched him in geet or ramayan appreciating him here... just like i'm appreciating kratika even though i havn't seen any of her previous work... each show that the guy does is very different from the previous and he always adds a new set of fans each time...

Yes it is true...

After Meeting Gurmeet, I loved him as a person and seeing him as Gurmeet has made me realised more that Gurmeet is not MSK but Gurmeet and that has helped me a lot to accept him as Gurmeet and all the role he plays..

I mean in real sense I love Gurmeet the person and an actor...and then comes the characters he plays... and I believe that has made a lot of difference in my views of him as MSK and as Yash. And I think that was the reason I was able to transist from MSK crazy fan to Yash easily because Gurmeet became more reality for me then MSK... or Yash

And that is the reason I was able to enjoy Yash from the start and able to connect with him. As hearing his voice does not make me feel that it is the voice of MSK or his look does not make me feel that it is MSK but I see him as Gurmeet and when I listen to him I hear him as Gurmeet as I have seen him performing live as MSK and then seen him as Gurmeet the person.

What I mean is that I have seen the transition from Actor Gurmeet to Person Gurmeet and that is why the Person Gurmeet is more real to me. And that is why I was able to give full attention to Gurmeet and all his roles became equally important to me.

Yes it is the fact that his on screen chemistry with his co-star Drashti Dhami was phenominal and they were able to create magic as both of them are superfine actors and do not let any stone unturn when it comes to their acting..

And when I think of it more.. I only think that if they did not create that phenomenal chemistry.. they would not be the top most stars right now and people would not call them dedicated actors.

As actors it is their duty to create chemistry with their co-stars.. It is their professional sucess and the success of the show depends upon it.. If they do not create it then they would not achieve success but a failure and the producer would not want to cast them in their show as their pair could not make an imression on the TV...

So to be always in demand by famous production houses and big banners the actors need to be successful and create history with their co-stars as done by so many other actors on TV and Cinemas...

So I salute Gurmeet and Drashti to create the magic of Maaneet and love them dearly for giving us one adorable and memorable jodi..

But as time goes on... we need to move with the time and now Gurmeet is doing another show and he needs to create a chemistry with his new co-star.. So we accept that and move ahead with him..

I also have not seen Kritika in any show and I really loved her in last one week and definitely waiting to see how the story comes around and when the lead actors meet and have interaction and how the relation of the characters develop and how these two actors can perform to create their magic as an individual actor and as a pair..

So all the best to both the actors and I am not only ready to see their performance but to see them how well they do and how well they create their magic together...

I just find it amazing that he was approached IMMEDIATELY after Geet ended by a such a top class PH! I mean Shashi-Sumeet Mittal have really been making their name in the Indian TV industry, they already have some big names under their belt and I am sure PV will soon be ranking among the top shows with the way it has charmed the audience in such a short period of time. So to be asked to play the lead of such a unique show, for a great PH on one of India's top TV channels, really all the credit goes to the immense talent Gurmeet possesses. He has become the kind of actor who is not only incredibly versatile, but also have a ridiculously large fan following...the two things are are extremely important for the immediate success of a new show!

Just look at this forum, the show started a week episode and we're already 26-27 pages in, with 99.99% of the posts being about how wonderful everything has been so far. Kratika and Gurmeet have already started garnering recognition, with just 5 episodes, so I think everyone has really high expectations from this, and I hope it not only delivers but delivers tenfold! It is going to be a wonderful journey, and we'll have ups and downs, but in the end it will all be worth watching.

And just as a side note, despite starting off on quiet a low note, DABH made it to the top 5 shows on the TRP chart within 3 and a half month of its launch, and hit the #1 spot in a little over 4 months. So let's see how long it takes for PV to accomplish this feat. With such a wonderful PH and well known leads, it should be interesting :)
