It was early morning...

Angad immediately called Prithvi...

Prithvi heard his phone ringing...he slept late...and was feeling lazy to answer the phone...but he saw it was Angad...he quickly answered...

Prithvi "what???? don't worry we are coming soon..."

Nandini "is everything alright" she said while still lying on the bed

Prithvi "Nandini...we have to go now...Richa is in hospital."

Nandini got up shockingly... "what???? what happened...please tell me"

Prithvi "i don't know much...Angad seemed worried...lets go"

After some time...

in the hospital...

Angad was moving from one door to another...he was worried when Richa screamed that she was having some pains...he was even more scared when doctor said that its not the right stage to have these pains...

Prithvi and Nandini came towards him...

Nandini was worried for Richa "Angad how is she??? can I see her??"

Angad "she's inside this room...doctor is examining...i was really worried so I called you"

Prithvi "its good you called us..."

Nandini asked the nurse if she can see Richa...to which she agreed and checked with the doctor...

Nandini went inside the room...where Richa was lying...her eyes were closed...the pain had stopped...Nandini asked the doctor... "is she safe??"

Doctor "she's been really careless...well it seems everything's alright...but she has to take care now...it means proper bed rest...we have managed to save the baby this time but its become very complicated now...the position of the baby has moved that has caused her a little pain...but don't worry she's sleeping now...we have given her some medicine...she will be fine by evening...but as I said she needs special care"

Nandini "thank you so much doctor"

she walked towards Richa and caressed her forehead...Nandini was relieved ...if anything would have happened to Richa...she would have held herself responsible for that...

After some time...

Richa opened her eyes...she saw Nandini sitting next to her...

Nandini looked at her "thank God you are safe Richa...we all were so worried...now you listen...you will have to take care"

Richa spoke slowly "i am fine Nandini..."

Nandini "that's it...i will stay with you until your delivery now..."

Richa "but...i"

Nandini "no but...you have to listen to me...i will take care of you..."

Richa "but its your time to enjoy your life Nandini"

Nandini "its my duty to take care of my friend...now you stop talking and eat something..."

Richa smiled...

Nandini came out of the room...

Angad "is she alright??"

Nandini "yes you can see her now..."

Angad went inside...

Nandini looked at Prithvi... "i have to stay with her until her delivery..."

Prithvi "what??? but"

Nandini "Prithvi please try and understand...i know her family is there...but she has always supported me and now if I take care of her I will feel happy...and I know she wants to be with me..."

Prithvi "she can stay in our house..."

Nandini "i will convince her...i think Angad might have to go back to Chicago"

Prithvi "oh yes...he has to go as soon as possible...i will tell him now"

Nandini hold his hand... "you never understand a situation...he's with his wife...and you want to interrupt them..."

Prithvi gazed at her and grasped her hand tightly... "we should also understand the situation...lets go"

Nandini "please, don't...leave my hand...you are holding too tight"

Prithvi smiled "am I...hmmm then its fine"

Nandini "i know you are a boxer and have strong hands but my hands are too soft for you...please don't hold so tightly"

Prithvi came more closer...

Nandini "this is hospital and people are passing by..."

Prithvi looked into her eyes... "i love holding you tightly...because you so soft..."

Nandini smiled... "please don't...now leave my hand Prithvi..." both were standing in the corner when Angad came out of the room...

Nandini called out "Angad"

Prithvi immediately pulled back …..

Angad looked at them "thanks Nandini...Richa was telling me you will take care of her..."

Nandini "that's alright...please don't say thanks..."

Prithvi "i think you must go back and complete your work...it was your project and I don't want you wasting more time around..."

Angad "but Richa..."

Nandini "please don't worry about her...i am here...she will stay with us now..."

Angad "thanks to both of you..."

Prithvi "lets go..." he looked at Nandini and smiled "i will see you later..." and winked at her...

Nandini smiled back embarrassingly...

Late Night...

Nandini was sleeping in Richa's room...Richa had slept some time ago...Nandini saw the jug next to her bed was empty...

she got up and picked it up...as she was walking towards the kitchen...she heard his footsteps...she swiveled around... "Prithvi!!! you haven't slept yet??"

Prithvi curled his arms around her waist "how can I sleep without you??? please come for sometime"

Nandini "no way...what if Richa needs something..."

Prithvi "she can shout Nandini..."

Nandini "no Prithvi...it won't be good for her to shout...please understand"

Prithvi hold her tightly... "why don't you understand...i can't sleep unless I..."

Nandini kept her hand on his mouth "sshh...you are too much Prithvi...you just keep on saying what you like...please don't say so loudly...and now let me go"

Prithvi "that's true...and now I can't express my feelings...you are stopping me from doing everything"he curled his arms around her delicate body...

Nandini "please don't hold so tightly...your hands are too strong for me"

Prithvi "you should be proud that your husband is so strong...you know girls like strong men"

Nandini "really??? how do you know??"

Prithvi "there were so many girls after me in college who just loved my boxing...they all use to like my body...and they all wanted that I should hold them" he smiled while holding her tightly in his arms...

Nandini flared angrily "fine...then go to those girls...and leave me..." she didn't looked at him...

Prithvi "i can't now...i don't know where they are...i have to spend my time with boring Nandini..." he grinned...

Nandini was annoyed now "so I am boring...???"

Prithvi "of course...you don't enjoy with me...when I hold you...you always make an excuse and run away...when I try to kiss you...you want to sleep..."

Nandini "leave me...please Prithvi...don't..." but Prithvi wanted her lips...he came closer and she tried to fidget when her back touched a cabinet that made a shriek... "ouch"

Prithvi heard someone coming downstairs... he immediately pulled back and hide in the kitchen... Nandini tried to adjust her dress that Prithvi had pulled badly... she nicely hold the jug and walked inside the kitchen to fill the water...when she heard

Renuka "Nandini...beta what are you doing here??"

Nandini "oh mom...i came to fill this jug...i thought Richa might need water..."

Renuka "ok...can you give me a glass of water as well...and Nandini beta did you heard any noise hear...i heard a shriek as if someone moved the furniture..."

Nandini looked elsewhere ….. "no...no mom...nothing..." she gave her water and was standing next to her...

Renuka "thanks beta...you can go and sleep now...make sure Richa is fine..."

Nandini looked behind the kitchen door... "oh yes mom..." she started moving towards her room... "good night mom..." again she turned to look "sweet dreams..."

Renuka looked at her "are you alright Nandini...you are smiling so much...what happened...???" Renuka glanced around...

Nandini "nothing mom..." she quickly went inside her room...

Renuka drank the whole glass...and moved towards her room...

Prithvi sighed "oh Mom...you have such bad timing..." he said helplessly...
