Perfect Song for Perfect Man. The Deadly Combo of Maan & The Song Behne De..
Behne De - Maan Singh Khurana and Geet Handa
Hey Guys this is one of my Previous Works, and i thought it would be fun to share it with all you Telly Tadka/GHSP/Maaneet Lovers''Hope you like it'.
Fan 1: "Behne De''." what Yeh gaana use kar rahe hai on Maaneet in GHSP??? Par Kyu ??
Fan 2: Its their first Rain Sequence and they are using such an unpleasant Song? The CV's have Lost it'
Fan 3: Common lets request that the song be changed
And so on''
These where the ongoing Discussion, on every Blog, Forum, Sites , FB etc when Viewers came to know that Maaneet were shooting a Rain Seq but the song was the very unconventional one from Raavan'.After watching the episode many accepted the Sequence, Many chose to ignore the song used and be content with just the sequence and Many felt that things could ahve been much better''..Well as for me, I came in Category 1, coz the moment i finished watching the sequence i could help but praise the team for such a brilliantly put seq, and that too with the Perfect song, that could been used in a situation like that one'..
Read on to find out, why Behne De was the Perfect Song for the Perfect Man, and why the Combo was a Deadly one'.
We all acknowledge the fact that Maan Singh Khurana's Character is something which is very different and Unique from all the other Male Characters on Star One'.
It's his Pride, Dignity, Arrogance, Short Temper, I Care a Damn Attitude living by his set principles which he will not bend and wont let Other bend too'..But what's happening lately???? Maan Singh Khurana is changing, not slow and steadily but drastically'.and that too because of that one Feeling which according to him is sheer nonsense-"LOVE"'..
A Few Day before he was under the dilemma as to what's happening to him'..He noticed that he was changing but his ego was too superior to accept it'.To accept that he was Strongly Attracted towards Geet or for a matter of fact she is affecting him, his life, his thoughts in a huge way'''
Now coming to the song'.I know many believe that the song was not a great one or the Sequence Picturisation could have gone a better way '.But the Song was ALMOST 90% on Maan ' His actions'His expressions'his every gesture'The feelings inside him'.and from that POV I don't think there would have been a better Option than" BEHNE DE"'.
The Lyrics of the Song when it started was actually almost pointing out the Tug of war which was going on inside himself'.
If you noticed its when the Lines "Behne De'.." Came across the screen, Maan who looked lost in the mesmerizing view infront of him of Geet in the Rain started to react'..Maan who hated Rain and associates it with gandagi and keechad Came out'..Which showed he decided to find out what's happening to him'.to find out answers to the Turmoil that's taking place within him'..to let flow of all the feelings that's making him confused'..
Mera pal pal ang ang bhar diya,
Tune jaan pe junoon sa kar diya,
Mera hai kya jo main haar doon,
Jaan teri hai tujh pe vaar doon.
This above lines starts when Geet Hugs Maan which left him shocked and surprised at the same time''.Initially he could not reciprocate it coz part of him forbade him to Hug her may be 99% of himself told him to keep away'.but 1% still urged him to go ahead and Hug Geet: To Comfort her'. console her''Protect her'.

When the lines Behja Behja Started the war inside him grew more stronger' his mind kept telling him "Don't "which we could see in movement of his Hands which hesitated to go around and hug Geet'and eventually that 1% (His feeling' his heart) which urged him to hold her close to him "WON"'..but what Maan let go off in that one hug was all his Inhibitions'Apprehensions and hesitations''
All the questions'the KYUN's he kept asking to himself pent open and Flowed'..and he found the answer as to what's happening to him'to his life??? The doors to which was shut to one and all had been opened by this one Girl-GEET who was affecting his ways'his thoughts'his life drastically''
He was changing and this change became more evident when Maan who hated Rain enjoyed it (After they broke apart and Geet ran away)'. he embraced the pouring Rain with both hands'.Thanking it(Rain) for giving him that one moment (The Hug With Geet) which sealed of the Fact that he is changing'..Geet's presence in his life is changing him drastically'. A new feeling'The feeling of love was taking form inside him'.and there was nothing he could do to stop, it'It was a "Behne De " situation'.He finally let his feelings flow and take over him''.
