OS: Ahem expresses his LOVE !!

Ahem has finally passed a lonely night. He never felt this hollowness in life before. Completely restless and frustrated. But the message from his wife made him come terms with the present and led him to sleep for today. When he came downstairs to the dining table, everybody were noticing him with biwilderement because he was smiling inwardly while walking to the table. He was in the reminisence of his dream the last night where he gave first his first kiss to his Gopi and she ran into the bathroom out of shyness. His moms voice brought him back to the reality and he hid his inner joy by wishing jai shri krishna. Hetal's reminder and Rashi's indirect taunt incited a strong desire to bring gopi back immediately, but knowing that would upset his mom, he said he will first complete his work and then go bring her. But his mother's assurance has made his heart come to his stomach. He did not expect this. Cursing his fortune he left the place immediately with wicked plans to get gopi himself running wild in his mind.

Rajpal nagar:

Gopi got dressed up in a saree that was lying in her peehar. She is waiting for her mother in law to come and pick her up in the evening. with extra energy and excitement to see her hubby filling her, she completed all her tasks without any strain or drain. During lunch time, she arranged food on the table and asked everybody to gather for lunch. Kinjal reached home few minutes back and was looking happy. Gopi inquired about her smile and found that Kinjal might soon get a job. Dhawal came there hearing this conversation and asked the details. Gopi with childlike excitement informed him about Kinjal's jobsearch for which kinjal gave her a "no need to inform him " like glare. Dhawal exclaimed that she is sharing his responsibility and he is very happy. But Kinjal replied him that whatever he earns is going in drain and that he can never fulfill her wishes so it is better to find a job for herself. Her taunts made Dhawal extemely hurt but he rubbed off with a wide smile and trying to cheer her again said that he bought a gift for their valentine's day. It is a glass photo frame with their wedding photo in it. Gopi was excited to see this gift and asked Kinjal to place it near their bed. Kinjal was irritated by this and pulled the gift and left to her room leaving Gopi and Dhawal dejected.

Ahem's office:

Ahem completed his mornign meeting with the important client and reached his cabin. His mind is at work. Making schemes to passover his mother's intellect is not an easy job. He never concentrated this much while preparing for any business deal. He wants his wife today. He has some plans for her. He already planned what he is going to do. But everything should fall in place to get the final effect . Finally, he rang up his mom after lunch and told her that the meeting went successfully and the clients praised their company and him. His mom is overjoyed and at the precise moment he made a long yawn and said "Mom I am so tired. I had to think a lot for the meeting and completely exhausted. I am planning to come home early today and also hungry." Kokila immediately asked him not to strain himself toomuch and come home immediately. Ahem was happy and casually inquired whether his mom will be home in the evening. Kokila says she is going to pick up gopi at 5'0Clock but otherwise she is home and inquired whether he needs something to be done for snacks. Ahem got his answer and wished her jai shree krishna and ended the call to kokila's confusion.

Ahem was pleased how things were turning up and immediately put his plan into action. It was 2:30 PM already. He should be on time. He immediately called Jigar and informed him that he has to pick up Gopi now and drop her home and that he would not come to office as there are no more meetings today. Jigar understood his bhai's intent immediately and said "Dont worry bhai, I am here to take care of things. You just spend time with bhabi. Bhai bhabi deserves this love and much more". Ahem is caught but he is happy. His brother is there to share things now. He understand his state of mind. He hugged Jigar and left the office as a child who is running to get its favourite icecream.

Rajpal Nagar...

Gopi heard a crackling vocie from Dhawal's room and rushed to see the photo frame lying in pieces on the floor. Kinjal is looking at those pieces with disgust. Gopi's eyes welled up and asked Kinjal why did she do this and tells her how Dhawal will feel when he sees this. Kinjal starts her tirade over dhawal and says that she will never be able to love Dhawal. She goes overboard and tells Gopi that you will not understand today's importance because you were never loved by anyone. At this precise point of time Ahem was there at Kinjal's room. He thought that he was intended to be there. He asked Kinjal to shut her mouth. He yells at kinjal to properly speak to Gopi as she is His WIFE and warns her about the consequences if he sees this kind of treatment next time. Kinjal is shocked to see this side of her brother and tries to opens her mouth only to be stopped by Ahem. He tells her that I donot want to talk to somebody who insults my wife. Ahem takes gopi's hand and gestures her to follow him. Urmila emerges out of her room and asks "Jamaijee, your mother said she will come and pick gopi later this evening but you have come now itself. Actually, gopi has to make some stuff for me and I think she has not completed yet " and looks at gopi and asks her to first go and finish the job for which gopi innocently replies that she has done everything. Nobody noticed a fuming Ahem coming towards Urmi. He stopped a couple of feet from Urmi. He wanted to slap her right there for treating his wife like a slave but his manners has stopped him. He took a bed lamp lying near sofa and broke it on the floor. That was enough for Urmila to sense his intent. Ahem warns her in the same way he warned Kinjal. Gopi is under utter disbelief to see AHem like this. She has a strange feeling in her stomach that is mixture of Confusion+Joy+Priide+Shock. She was looking at ahem in amusement when he took her hand and led her out of the house.

They both sat inside the car. Ahem was still fuming. Gopi looked at ahem and asked "How are you Ahemji!!". Her voice has a pacifying effect on Ahem. It is like a medicine that clears his negative emotions. This brought smile to his face and said "I am fine how are you. you look like you did not have food for days. I am telling you Gopi, I dont want you to come here again. You can come here only with me. Understood". Gopi sensed her husband's concerned and nodded her head slightly blushing. Ahem could not lift his eyes seeing how shy his wife is. "Gopi, save some shyness for later this evening. You are in for more surprises and I dont want you to empty on your shyness. Oh God, I love her. " he said to himself.

While on their way back home, Ahem tells gopi that has to meet somebody near a place and asks her not to come out of the car. He quickly gets down and rushes towards a street and emerges after 10 mins with a large polythene bag in his hands. Gopi is surprised to see the bag and its color. It is pink in color with all floral designs. Gopi inquires Ahem about the bag for which he replies it has some office documents. Gopi still not convinced asks "But Ahemji, office documents in this type of cover?" . Ahem realized that he did not plan on this and with an irritated voice "Gopi, should I answer to all your questions. Why cant the office papers be in this cover." He wants to divert the topic and asks Gopi if she likes to eat something. Gopi sees a sweet shop and says she likes kulfi. Ahem is happy that he knows what his wife likes. They have a nice treat near the shop. Gopi could not complete kulfi as she was busy shying away from Ahem's staring all through. Ahem's eyes were back to normal when he sensed the empty stick poking on his tongue. 😃

It was already 4:15 PM and Ahem hurried towards the car all the while praying that his plan should succeed. Immediately after he entered the car, he kept he pink floral bag into his laptop bag. Gopi could not understand what her husband was doing. She never saw him this nervous before. They reached home at 4:45PM. Kokila was surprised to see Gopi at the doorstep and looked questioningly at Ahem. Ahem had to give a long explanation and had to face a series of questions as to why he had to go down to pick up Gopi when he was not well. Finally exhausted, and happy to successfully pass through his Mom's test, he asked gopi to get his black tea. Kokila nd Hetal informed him about their plan to go for Some pooja in the neighbourhood and will be back only after dinner. Ahem did not expect that he is God's favourite child. He had so many plans later but his mom's plan has made everything easy. His happiness brought a broad smile on his lips and in a hurry told his mom "No problem Mom, You can come leisurely after dinner even if it is late." and caught his tongue. Kokila sensed something fishy but kept it aside to discuss later. Rashi came out of the room dejectedly and accompanied Kokila and Hetal. Apparently, Jigar said he is busy today and could not come home till late night. Ahem's joy knew no bounds. His heart is almost jumping out as one could hear his heart beat. Home is empty only with us two. Immediately he went to kichen and asked Gopi to make dinner soon and he went to their room.

He closed thier room door and did not come out for a while. Gopi knokced the door to call him for dinner but Ahem did not open the door and informed her from inside that he would come down in few mins and that she should go . Gopi is confused at this behavior thinking whether she has done something wrong. while she was about to leave, ahem held his head and cursed himself inwardly as to how he could forget things and calls gopi back to the door. He tells her that mom has kept a new saree and jewellery and that she should wear it today. Gopi is utterly bewildered and asked why she should do this now when mom is not even at home. Ahem is out of answers as he never expected this question especially from Gopi . She never questions. He retorts in an irritated voice "Gopi, I do not know all this. Do you want to see mom unhappy when she returns. Go and do what she said." Gopi accepts defeat and does what Ahem says. She is dressed in a beautiful evergreen saree and a diamond necklace. Ahem comes down to dining table and asks for food. He asks her to sit along with him and eat. She looked ethereal to him in his favourite color saree. Again Gopi has to endure Ahem's stares all through dinner. When both are finished with dinner, Ahem asks Meethi to open the door when somebody comes and asks her not to disturb him or Gopi. Ahem takes gopi's hand and her to their room. Ahem

Gopi is surprised to see her room decorated similar to how she had decorated a year ago. There are candles, roses spread all over and their bed has a heart shape in the center made of red roses. she entered the room in trance. Ahem closed the door behind, bends on her neck and whispers "I love you Gopi". Gopi turns around in shock and finds ahem only few inches aways from her. Her eyes are already welled up and started to roll down her cheeks . Ahem caresses her cheeks and sayis "Gopi, I do not want to see this anymore. I promise that from now onwards I will never be a reason for these tears not will allow anyone to give you these. Gopi, I knew that I was in love with you for a while but yesterday I realized that I cannot live without you even for a day. Please do not leave me. I am sorry for all the pain I caused you. Please stay with me always holding my hands" Saying this he holds Gopi's hands to kiss. Gopi's joy knew no bounds but all she could do is cry. This time the tears of joy. Ahem kisses her hands and looks at Gopi who is now red with shy. Ahem extends his arms and invites her for a hug for which gopi immediately relents. Both of them spend in each other's arms when gopi comes to her senses when she feels wet kisses around her neck. They break their hug and Ahem proceeds for next steps in line...

epilogue: Morning Rashi comes running into the kitchen and sees a happy gopi making breakfast. She senses that something good happened to Gopi yesterday and could not bear the feeling that Gopi enjoyed valentine's day. She went to her and inquired whether she got any gift the previous day and immediately cutting down Gopi's answer by saying that what would she expect from a husband who does not love her. Gopi smiles at her sister's ignorance and tell her that "Rashiben, I got a wonderful gift from Ahemji yesterday. His Love'. Rashi gets her shock o flifetime.!!
