Journey of being together - His Restlessness !!!

After realising Gopi was not at home, Ahem's controlled his disappointment & sat down to work...With Meethi bringing in the tea, he was about to work, when he received call from Mr. Parikh...over the conversation, Mr. Parikh reminded Ahem that he left office early & that he was reminding him about an important file which needs to be handed over to the client...the moment Ahem heard the words about him leaving office early, his mood turned bad...it reminded him that his efforts of him coming home early were not rewarded by his wife !!! With controlled anger he ended the call...With his anger simmering he went about to a pick up the file to work on & as he was about to do that he spilled tea on the pillow... as he was cleaning the pillow, his anger started to build up on why Gopi was not there for him...he came out of the rest room forgetting about work, & started to search for another pillow for himself !!! Not finding the pillow he was irritated & voiced out his anger that why did Gopi had to go to her mami's house today only !!! With his hopes of seeing her , spending time with her & sharing the news of the temple not being met ...it has irritated him !!! If given a choice will Ahem ever send her to any place which he not there??

With the 1st reason of not finding his pillow he called her...& she did not answer his call...it bought out his anger to the fore...seeing the tea stain on the floor he shouted for meethi !!! With his mom asking meethi to clear the stain but not calling Gopi back home, irritated him !!! As Meethi was cleaning the stain she switched on the fan...due to which his work papers were all in a mess on floor...as he was gathering his papers he spoke out what his heart was saying...If Gopi was there she would have taken care of everything...Gopi in her quiet loving ways had taken over him & his responsibility & has made a place for herself in his life !!! She always ensured he was her priority & nothing disturbed him as he worked...from his clothes to his tea to his food to his working environment everything she ensured he had it the way he expected !!! Though Ahem never liked Gopi in the past but due to nani & then as his mom started to push allowed Gopi to do things for him !!! He never realised when she had taken over his complete responsibility even without him knowing...his day starts with her taking care of his tea & clothes & ends with her taking care of his needs as they rest in the night !!! Today without her being around for him to take care of him he felt completely lost & restless...Being with Gopi also softened his approach on how he looked at other...he never lost out his complete anger on both Mr. Parikh & Meethi !!!

In Rashi's room, he observed for alongtime the photoframes that were laid on the bed...the wedding photoframes...did it remind him of one other day where his wife also on nani's instance got on to the stool to hang there wedding photograph which he hated then !!! As his mom was scolding Rashi on not helping when Gopi is not there, he was not happy...did he think why was Gopi there when Rashi must be the person taking care of her mom !!!

As he settled down to work, all of a sudden he started to sneeze...he tried to search unsuccessfully for his handkerchief...it irriated him similar to the navrathri time that he is unable to find anything without Gopi around...with the 2nd reason of not finding his handkerchief he took the opportunity to call her...This time around also she did not take his call...Will his anger double thinking that she is avoiding him & that he is not important for her? or will he assume that she is busy at work & will call her back latter?? Gopi is happy that her Ahemji is calling her & due to her mami, she is unable to take his calls & she is also missing him...So who will call back & what will the first few words they would say to each other?? Will both understand the hidden feelings in the words expressed over the call ??

Ahem needs to submit a file at 10 PM & Gopi has promised to come back home...will he go & pick her up from her mami's house to ensure his wife is with him in the night in their room !!!

Thank you ever !!! Ahem is going thru different emotions being away from Gopi...he just cannot seem to have any control over anything especially his heart which is beating for her !!!

Wonderful post, Navya. I had overlooked the controlling of his anger earlier on with Mr Parekh as I was too absorbed with Ahem behaving like a child and it made me somewhat irritated. But things happen for a reason and hopefully before long he will realise for himself.

Wonderful Navya..👏 You have detailed the entire sequence beautifully. You are absolutely right when you say that his anger started when Mr. Parekh reminded that he had left office early.. 😆 I guess he was reminded that the reason he came early, his wife was not there... Poor man has got it bad..
It was fun to watch him after that.. His concentration all awry, he went with his tea to pick up a file, picked the pillow, split his tea on it, failed to clean the pillow, frustrated at the failure, then instead of actually taking the file he goes looking for the pillow..😆 And thus a reason to call Gopi... He is dying to talk to her for whatever reason...But as usual he hides that in his anger..
Again, when he picked up the papers, his actual feelings came to the fore and I loved it when he voiced it..
I can see determination in his mother now. Thoughtfulness and a pang of motherly love.. I inferred it to be Kokila's smart mind putting together the final touch.. Hopefully that comes out true.. Gopi did her penance for a year and Kokila supported her in that equally.
Their victory is just in sight and I think Kokila realizes it and is gearing up for the last stage.. Fingers crossed Ahem will complete his journey and realize his love.. Then it will be the Journey together with Gopi...😃
