i didnt read anyone else's reply yet so it may sound repetitive but it is purely my thought
My question is, why is Rey's unintentional mistake, any different from Kriya's own offense against Swayam? If Kriya cannot mean Swayam harm, can Rey mean Kriya any?
Rey is her boyfriend. Maybe not officially but they both are way beyond friendship. Hurting/getting hurt by your friend/teammate/classmate is one thing but when it comes down to your boyfriend/love it is totally different. You have a different level of expectations from them. This is the reason it should be easier for Vishaka/Amar/Bharat to forgive the other team than Neha to forgive Vicky.
The reason Swayam can forgive Kriya is, because he believes that about her. So does Kriya not believe the same way about Rey?
The reason Swayam can forgive Kriya is because she is his friend and he understands that she was hurt by Rey. He's been through what she feels now. If he didn't know about Rey-Kriya, he would've been a bit more upset with her. It is also because of his nature; Swayam is more understanding/patient/tolerant than kriya.
Why is she with him in the first place then?
Thats why she feels they shouldn't be together. Because this whole Dazzler/Weakling this will always be in the way. She wanted to try it because she hoped that it wouldn't come in the way but destiny proved her wrong.
If one even compared Kriya's offense versus Rey's, Kriya's is actually worse, because what she said was neither ' a team decision' and like I said, has to be a thought somewhere in her subconscious, and Swayam could hold that against her.
You're not wrong but I feel that when you're really good friends with someone you should be able to say ANYTHING to them and apologize and it should be forgotten. In Kriya's defense, she wants to forget this but can't and it wouldn't be fair to forgive Rey and then have this come again and again between them.
