So I don't want to sound rude or discredit the show or anything. I watch it for pure entertainment purposes. But one thing is for sure and I'm not making this up. I know this for a fact. Mithun Da nor the audience decides who goes out. They have nothing to do with decisions, but sadly we see it that way. The channel itself decides whom to eliminate. Its as simple as those that raise the TRP of the show will remain on the show, those who don't won't. I can't say it better than that. No one has to believe me. But it is a true fact. Its just really unfortunate that is works this way. International votes hardly ever count, but the channel makes it seem like they do. People "buy" votes. This whole reality show business is sick. BUT it is the BEST way to show your talent to the world. It is a platform to showcase what you're best at. Which is why I really want to be a part of SRGMP one day even though I know how rigged the show is.

Anyways just thought I'd share this with you all. And everything said above is not what I think...It is what it is...Meaning its 101% true.

Very truly said Rani. All these reality shows are sooo scripted it does not take a genius to know that. Take it from me, I've watched PLENTY of these to know what I'm saying.🤢 But, you're right in saying these are good platforms to showcase your talent. 😊

Yes quite true in most cases but the Channel too gets feedback from General Dada and the three officers.😆
Terence Sir declared that results are not "fixed" too.
But I have heard from other sources that the Channel does "interfere".

Logically I expect the Channel to "manage" and plan some parts.
At times they do crazy things for TRP.

Though this information is not shocking, but hard-hitting, it is!
Unfortunately everything finally boils down to money.. Afterall the TV Channel has to make money. But still a cheating (even at milder levels) cannot be tolerated.
One thing I fail to comprehend is, how on earth would the TV Co. know which contestant is actually generating certain volumes of TRP? Do they capture TRP like for every minute of the show or what is the mechanism to determine the relationship between certain performance and the figures? In my understanding there are only few ways to know that:
- Fanpages / Forums etc: But then ppl love and talk more about the contenstants who really perform well..So talent is not wated in this case
- SMS Voting: Same theory as above.
If at all the TV Co. is bent on certain contenstant becoz they fit under certain profile (be it gender, sex appeal, age, region, color or whatever) then it is pure violation of Fundamental laws .. Looks like this need to be discussed further.

A contestant will raise TRPs of a show if:

1) He/She is famous prior to the show.

2) He/She has some comical factor in them.

3) He/She doesn't know proper English or Hindi therefore becoming a source of comedy.

4) He/She is beyond amazing and is most talked about on the show.

5) He/She uses emotional techniques to get votes by telling personal stories.

5 is the most overused one that Indian reality shows almost always use. So annoying when they go on about "sir, isse pehle main restaurant mein kaam karta tha" or "meri parivaar mein mujhe koi bhi support nahi karta". Enough of the sob stories..make the public fall in love with your dance, not pity you for your problems. (not that being a waiter is actually a real problem)

Shafer can be added to this category too:
# The person is from an underprivileged family with meager means of livelihood but got thus far due to family support and hard work & passion for dance.

Ditto. I mean who doesn't have personal struggles and problems. We all do. No need to publicize those problems.
