Film industry abuzz with news that Aamir's wife Kiran is pregnant

IF the news floating around is to be believed, Aamir Khan has more to celebrate than just the success of his film Fanaa. A film magazine has claimed in its latest issue that the star's wife Kiran Rao is pregnant.
While the couple remains close-lipped, sources close to the Khans say that Kiran is about three months pregnant. Aamir wed Kiran at Panchgani late last year, but the ceremonies were fiercely guarded from the media. Speculation about the couple turning parents hit the Bollywood circuit a fortnight ago.
"Aamir is very protective about Kiran and his family. I heard this news and called Kiran up to congratulate her. She replied, 'Thank you'. Aamir too was tight-lipped and changed the topic," said a Bollywood friend of the couple who did not wish to be named.
Khan-daan bhi chhup: Even Aamir and Kiran's families are refusing to talk about the news that is circulating in the media. The star's father Tahir Hussain said, "Why don't you ask this to Aamir? It is our personal family affair and we would not like to comment on it." The star didn't reply to the repeated messages for confirmation that Sunday MiD DAY sent to him.
Aamir has two children, Junaid and Aira, from his earlier marriage to Reena — but no problems there. The two are often seen accompanying Aamir and Kiran to film premieres and joined enthusiastically with their father's wedding celebrations in December 2005.
