A question for Savita

I started watching PR in Dec. 2010. So, fellow IF members, pardon me if I don't have a clue about Armaan's rishta before that and all the misunderstandings that happened before that.

of course all Archana did the last 1-2 yrs of her marriage before Manav moved to Canada is OUTRAGEOUS and WRONG on every level. But, lets keep that aside as that has been discussed a lot.

Anyways, coming to the point. My issue with Savita is not that she separated Archana and Manav.

I only have one question regarding Savita's character (or shall I say for the story-writers). WHY didn't Savita try to GET Manav MARRIED again after they moved to Canada? When Manav listens to Savita so much, why didn't savita try to get him married to someone?

Isn't that a bit too selfish of Savita? Manav was like what, maybe in his late 20s or perhaps early 30s when he moved to Canada. Isn't that too young? I mean he spent majority of his youth without a life partner. No one is going to return those 18 years back to him.

I personally would have preferred to see Manav getting married in Canada to a nice girl. But, oh well, SAVITA, WHAT DO WE DO WITH HER?

Now one may argue that hypothetically she may have tried. Well, hypothetically a number of things may have happened. But, this is beyond my comprehension.

Archana and Sulo are outsiders, or do not have any blood-relation with Manav. But, Savita gave birth to Manav.

And what upbringing did she give to Manav's kids? Ovi and Teju may not be bad girls. But, Ovi, in these modern times, is just worried about getting married at the age of 18. REALLY?

18 is like when you graduate out of high school or first year of undergraduate studies. I haven't seen Savita saying even once that Ovi should concentrate on her studies for a few years and then we'll get her married.

IF members: Please keep Sulo and Archana discussion out of this, if possible. That has already been discussed and beaten to death in almost every topic, LOL.

Good question.
But the answer is simple..
Manav is still married with archana..so he cannot marry another woman..it's against the rules.unless he and archana are divorced, then manav can marry again.

Secondly..i am very sure..Savita will not allowed Manav marry again..because she fears manav's wife would snatch manav, the children and the most of them..the money, wealth, properties from her. Savita has that fobia. 😆😆😆

p/s: Savita did not gave birth to manav. Manav is Damodar son with his previous wife. Damodar married savita and that time manav was still a small boy. If i'm not mistaken...

Oh, is that true? I started watching PR in Dec. 2010. My understanding is that Manav is Savita's biological child. I don't think Savita is Damodar's second wife.

Perhaps, other IF members who have followed PR from the begninning can shed some light on this.

Besides most psychiatrist or counsellors would suggest not to get involved in other relationships until kids turn adults...Especially when one is burned so much by the first marriage due to the wife and her family..

@ Varsha Di: I understand what you are saying. Def. someone (Manav) who went through such a turmoil in a short span of time wouldn't be mentally prepared to marry again.

I do still have a doubt that if a character like Savita existed in real life, she would have been very willing to get manav married again.

One thing I do want to see is Manav giving a LONG LONG lecture in typical EKTA style party background or a big family living room to the following people:
Archana
Savita
Sulochana
Sachin

And Yes, I want someone to seal the mouth's of the above four so that they cannot offer their stupid ridiculous arguments.

I don't want Manav to ask them any questions. But, honestly, just break ties once and for all with the above.

In real life, if someone is subjected to such betrayal and backstabbing, that person would most likely have a nervous breakdown or may suffer from some brain disorder.

Me myself also not very sure on this matter..because i started watch PR after Manav and Archana married for the first time. Don't know the history of their family. 😊
But as i said, if i'm not mistaken..Manav is not Savita biological child. 🤔❓

Savita is not Manav's step-mother, she is his real mother. PR has been adapted from tamil show Thirumathi Selvam where the hero's mother was his stepmom but its no so in the hindi version.
