Hi I'm new to this forum and I started watching DP lately..well I've been an on and off follower of the show. I was just wondering could someone explain to me why Mohans mom doesn't like Kastur? And was it since the beginning of the show? And who brought Katsur-Mohan rishta together?

First of all welcome to the forum dear 🤗
well saroj hates kastur bcuz c is 9th paas and not of her son's level and baap jee was behind MohUr Marriage 🤣

Bhanu took money from jitu for mohan's education when baapji came to know of it ,,, he fixed their rishta while mohan was abroad without consulting saroj or even informing mohan (for me he sold mohan 😡)

Saroj does not like it because she was never consulted when fixing the rishta and also thought kastur is not of mohan's standard and also mohan who did not love kastur went against her and agreed to accept the rishta as per baapji's desire for his own financial interest ... baapji made it a point to rub it into saroj and said to her mohan pehley mera poota hey phir tera beta 🤢 all this made her hatred grow ... baapji always had a bad attitude towards females of the house and wanted to keep everyone under his thumb, he was never in favor of mohan going abroad either and saroj and bhanu had to literally smuggle him out 😆 all these reasons are what contribute to saroj's hatred for kastur

Her hatred for kastur is stupid specially when we have seen her as such a loving mother but reasoning behind it is not in my opinion and like lik said you can't expect rationality from someone who has lived in oppression for years
