The audio launch of Pandiraj's Marina was held in a unique fashion at the Marina beach recently. The National Awardwinning Pasanga director, who has also turned producer with this film, began the event with a small-scale beach clean-up activity along with director Thankar Bachan. The Marina team also attempted to recreate the typical sights and sounds of the beach with horse riders, sundal-selling boys and hawkers being part of the event, though the execution was rather chaotic.
Marina has Sivakarthikeyan and Oviya in the lead and revolves around the various people one finds on the Marina beach. The film's music director, Girishh, is a debutant, who has trained under Lalgudi G Jayaraman and has been involved with orchestras, contemporary dance and theatre productions in the UK. The audio was released by Ameer and Sasikumar in the presence of some Kollywood celebs.
