And then he has the audacity to threaten Priya regarding their marriage. As far as I can recall, he was the one who was after her, "love at first sight," as he had claimed. He overlooked everything to be with her, and was so supportive of her, even after learning about her past. All that, and here he is, forsaking that beautiful relationship over a matter of opinion differences. Isn't everyone allowed the right to their own perspective? Even if he does not support her in her views, can he not respect her as an individual? Who says that marriage denies individuality? If he truly loves her, then he should accept her whole-heartedly, and even if they have such dissimilar views.

What bothers me most however, is his reaction towards Devyani... Oh the nerve! All things done and said, Aditya Jhakar has the audacity to wake up the morning after he made such a blatant and filthy remark about his mother, and tell her with a smile on his face, "Maa, mujhe taahre se baat karni seh." The righteous tone in his voice sent flames raging. After judging her thus, without an explanation, he has the will to call her mother, and fully expect (or rather, demand) that she listen to him. Has Devyani previously ever given Aditya reason to doubt her faith and undaunted love for him and the rest of his family? She has stood strong as a rock, a shield, a pillar of strength against the prying eyes of the world for them. Yes, she has made mistakes, but his misconceptions are far more ridiculous! And then he has the audacity to threaten Priya regarding their marriage.
