Rumour is that this year Katrina is being offered Rs2 crores to dance to Chikni Chameli. This news has angered Mallika, who has has been proudly proclaiming to everyone that she is raking in 65 lakhs to dance to her item number Jalebi Bai.
A source reveals, "Mallika was overheard telling people that she is unbeatable when it comes to being a crowd puller and shaking her booty on stage."
To provoke Katrina further, our source reveals that the controversial Sherawat is allegedly claiming that no one can reach her level when it comes to commanding big money for stage performances. Incidentally, this may have been the case some time ago, but with so many actresses emerging with popular item songs, the competition is bound to increase.
According to insiders, the reason behind Mallika's snide remarks is that she hasn't been having a good run in Hollywood or Bollywood. New Year is a good time for people like her to make a quick buck and gain publicity. However, Katrina is today a top league actress.
