Well tough choice it is!No doubt Fahad was trememndous in Abdul Qadir and he is one of the amazing and verstaile actors we have in our industry! But my vote will still go for Fawad. That guy is truly something.šHe is a complete package with hot looks and amazing acting skills. And the way he has pulled off Asher's character with his charisma, agression, with his expressive eyess, I guess nobody can do it!š³And not just in Humsafar I guess from time to time in each and every drama Fawad has proved his tremendous acting skills because of which i truly admire that guy!š
Well i agree with you that Fahad's character was seriously difficulty and he potrayed with such excellence that even i cannot imagine anyone else in place of him as Abdul Qadir! Also i agree with you to some extent that Fahad could have been able to do Asher's role as he has done more challenging roles before and he has been in industry for long. But I still think that the way Fawad has portrayed Asher's personality and emotions through his eyes i really can't think of any other actor in his place(maybe i am being biased)š³. And about Fawad playing Abdul Qadir i really have never thought about that and above all Fahad has done full justice with that character and he has portrayed the phases of the character tremendously!šAnd yeah it is one of the toughest poll i have ever come across this forum!šOriginally posted by: starstuck
I respect your opinion, Resham..but if I had to compare the two characters..Asher and Abdul Qadir ..I think nobody could have pulled off the character of Abdul Qadir as well as Fahad as opposed to the character of Asher.Fawad's awesome as Asher..don't get me wrong..when I say that's the only reason why I watch Humsafar then I think it speaks volume because to watch a drama for one person's acting is something...but the way Fahad portrayed each of his three sides in Main Abdul Qadir Hoon..was really really nicely done. I really can't think of many actors who could have pulled that off..but I can see some actors pulling off the character of Asher. If you listened to one of Fawad's latest interview..Fawad in that audio interview said himself...that he could see many guys playing the character of Asher..it's just the mannerism he has used while playing Asher that has made people adore the character. Apart from that, I can honestly see Fahad Mustafa pulling off an Asher too..I really can't say the same about Fawad at this point in regards to doing a Abdul Qadir..that's probably because Fahad's been around for so long now..and has attempted everything and anything so it's easier to imagine him in any role now.I love both..and it breaks my heart to choose one over the other LOLLL..š..but in my opinion I gotta give credit where it's due..Fahad was the best actor of 2011.

Fahad has been on my favorite actor list for a long time now. And this year, Fawad was added to it after watching Humsafar:)
But I vote for Fahad here because he pulled off really difficult character (it's like he played 3 totally different people) in MAQH. In spite of being a huge Humsafar and Fawad fan, to be honest...acting wise, the character of Asher can not even be compared to Main Abdul Qadir Hun because that was on a totally different level. So would like to see Fawad in an intense and challenging role to. Fawad himself said that he hasn't done a role yet which he would call his best or something like that in the interview. And realistically thinking...there isn't much extraordinary about Ashar's character either...he is just a romantic hero which I think we can find a lot in the different indian soaps around us... Don't take me wrong, Fawad is a great actor but this role hasn't brought out the best of his acting potential but it doesn't give him much scope to perform...
