@ toothbrush13: when being part of a DT there is no "easy way out"...i have never shied away from dealing with problems...but what i think i may not be clearly saying is that i was unaware that there were these problems to begin with...how can i take care of problem or go read posts when i dont know that i have to do so...my daily cursory glances through the forum seem pretty normal...updates...a topic here about Archana...one about Manav...etc...DT members (me and entire IF dev team included) do not have the luxury of time...if we could read each and every comment that would be great...but that just isnt feasible because of other things we all have going on...any grievances you may have with the forum or the DT can be handled by reaching out to them first...which didnt happen with me...i came on this morning to that post and was shocked...and from then on its just been people attacking us left right and center by calling saying we're lazy and lack enthusiasm...among other things...

@ gremlin: i understand the fact that you want a place to discuss the issues with the DT but there is a way to do it...and its all about perception...how i see something is not how you will see it...and how you see something wont be how i see it...its human nature...at no point did i saw that as the DT...we were in the clear...i have admitted in this thread itself about not checking into every thread and monitoring every thing...but it does come as a personal attack when individuals are specified...never once did i take any names...cant say the same for others though...and i agree 100%...the thing that caused this whole mess in the first place is miscommunication...lets fix that

@ nikitagmc: i never at any point mentioned your name...yes you opened the post...but you were not the only person that commented...many others did...what i said was a generalization and not directed at anyone specific...i never mentioned you personally PM'ing or you personally doing anything...i understand that you guys are frustrated with what has been going on...and now that i am aware of that fact...i am too...however, the post and the comments made didnt take any of us DT members into consideration...if we have to consider your views which are valid...cant we request the same...

Firstly before starting anything I will apology everyone from DT members to members in this forum if I hurted anyone neither my before post was meant to do nor this post will be. Also sorry for making this post bit too long.

Yesterday to be frank after I made that post some where I felt guilt that I tried to remind mods job, but I have to say sorry Jaz you proved me what I wrote was right. 😕

This is what I wrote and see as soon that thread regarding DT we made I'm seeing same sets rules being told again. 😕 I never said you and Devu are relaxing infact I said it is difficult to say whether you both are good mod to our forum or not because I don't see any presence of you both. I mean is mods appointed in forum just to make rules and make written update sticky? 😕

I will give one more example why it gets difficult and kind of hesitation to PM any of you mods too much.

Here I have made a complain against thread being moved in creation gallery and remember it was same rules thread which you made Jaz, but I didn't get ANY answer then I reported to which Reshu immediately responded and said she will look into the matter, but till date I have no answer for it and I even left matter because any normal person will feel shy to bug someone because even we understand that you guys have personal like and if someone comes and PM again on same issue can be irritating.

I know Devu very well and capabilities of being fab mod because she was before and she worked along with Guru to make forum active and to be unbiased as much as possible, but now a days she can't and she herself has said because of her personal reason which I can understand and I'm not saying it is wrong, so what I meant to say is if she can't do then why not take someone who is willing to work for this forum. Is questioning that wrong???

About you I know I have never said, but I have followed you and your work in Kis Desh forum, Rehna Hai Teri Palkon ki Chaaon Mein forum where you have worked infact you were so active in those forum interacting with members and now in Geet forum, but I don't see you Jaz so it is difficult for to make a convo or anyone else for that reason to PM or any DT team because it is not soo easy to just PM like that to complain on someone, one can feel comfortable when we know that person to certain extent. I know when you came newly to forum you didn't get warm welcome where few people accused of being biased and don't you remember we all supported you that time, but at time when we feel now DT team is being at wrong side and when we raise voice why is it a mistake? 😕 Also to be frank I know here people don't respond to contest in enthu like other forum which makes person not enough motivated, but still can't DT team people try it and this show was no.1 for 2 and half years yet till now we have just 2 banner contest and I don't need to say about others forum do I?

We are members of I-F who don't go only to one forum, but to many and when we see things being organized then doesn't question naturally arise why we don't have in our forum? Like I see when new article comes mods make it sticky and make it sticky in sense which is closed if it has actors tagged in so that show actor rank can increase, but here nothing is done and before Devu use to do now she can't because she has commitment outside which I can't question neither it is my right, but I do have right to question if not she why not someone else and no we can't report each and every time because just like you guys even we have work outside I-F, but we can say once or twice if we say again and again I'm sure it will be enough irritating. This was main intention of previous thread to say what we are feeling, but that was just closed plus it was taken personal. 😕

One more thing if any mods go through just pages when SBS,SBB segments air I see 3-4 threads on same update either with links or WU, but it won't get closed and yes we can't report everytime.

I don't wanna talk about this Sushant and Hiten thing enough have said before and here also people have mentioned it. But I will say one needs to check thread when someone reports before coming to conclusion for that we can't report again and again. Because I know even few PR members have been not very co-operative so one needs to take against them and others who just to mock people. Many more things one can say about regarding how few members post, but let that leave aside I don't want to talk about it again and again.

I don't know if I will make any sense from this posts or not, but I have say I have been here for 2 years now and 90% of my posts are in PR forum no matter what I'm not able to post in other forum freely and infact my main reason to stick this india-forum is Swat aka Tb and Jia because I don't know why I love them too much than this show and its actor even Tazi was, but she left this forum and I don't why I'm saying this now, but yeah I have lost interest in this forum and we questioning something is taken personal then I'm sorry that was not my intention.

Edit: I and Tazi have tired to help as much as possible like updating media centers and all, but we can't edit every time because it closed automatically closed due to certain I-F format then again if we feel to edit we need to PM mods again and again which is very uneasy for us to do and I'm sure it will be receive.

First and d foremost the DT have to understand that they are here as a TEAM. Mind you its a v v imp word. It was pointed by one DT member in nikita's post that few had received complaints and few had not. Now, let me make this clear. A Team is one which takes responsibility for ALL of its Team members. Their liabilities are JOINT and SEVERAL. A msg to one is a msg to All. So pls start taking accountability of your Team. A forum will be successful only if the regulators are united. That was pointed out because we were questioned why both of us,me and jazz, had not acted on it or rather why are we not 'visible' on the forum. Now, since Resham got the particular pm she acted on it.That was once again the PR DT acting on that particular problem.She forwarded that pm to us later.


Secondly, Theres difference between a Judge and a Regulator. Judges pass judgement when they are approached. Regulators dont wait for someone to approach them. If two ppl are fighting on d road and a cop happens to pass by, he will try to put a stop to it. He will not wait for one of them to lodge a complain. The DT is just like a cop.W/o sounding rude i hope you got my msg. However we are always here to co-operate and 'REPORT'. But that shouldnt be the only recourse. Remember CONSTANT VIGILANCE is the key to all solutions. No two ways about it.

Yes, whenever one of us comes across a problem, we dont wait for people to report and then act. We act on it then and there itself. The reason that we ask members to report posts is because it is possible that may be we have not come across some offensive so these members can point us and we can take appropriate action.



You had asked for our suggestions and here they were.

Thank you. I just thought I should explain how we work in reference to the suggestions made by you. Yes, there is always room for improvement and believe me, we always work for it.


Last but not the least..if ure finding yourself in an irreconcilable situation then its never too late to hand over the reins.

The moment any of us feel that we cannot take responsibility of this forum, we will do that or our names will be removed by from the DT by the Admin team and Global Moderators.

Nish, we also have deleted thrash topics, given warnings, merged topics. Some of these things dont show our visibility but we work.

I had written that a long time ago and I really felt guilty for not being around the forum but that wasfor a month or so. It was my pc problem. Now I am pretty regular on the forum.

Banner contests are held every 6 months and this is our third banner.We just recently had a banner contest and we got really few entries for that. Believe me, I had pmed some of my friends personally so we would get some more banner entries. We had very low number of entries last time and it was disappointing. And about the contests, just yesterday I was thinking about introducing Forum Decoration Contest which is organised by Crazy Creatives. But well as you know, all of us got entangled in the issue.
