I think Bani knows Jai well his strength and weaknessess both and she knows he is a nice man and only due to circumstances his behaviour changes also if he wasnt good her father wouldnt has entrusted their responsibility to Jai. So she knows he is benevolent trustworthy and loving and hides his inner feelings and is short tempered but she hopes he will change one fine day and may he will confess his true love for her and realise her love for him. 😛

My sentiments exactly Rupy! I've said this before in one of my other posts too that it doesn't seem intuitive for Bani to fall in love with Jai but it's the empaathy that Bani felt for Jai...the connection at a level that wasn't always obvious to us viewers that made Bani fall for Jai. It started with an understanding of Jai's situation, his pain and hurt and a need to comfort him at some level through the restrictive manner available to Bani at that point whick later turned into an adoration of everything that Jai was made up of. Bani accepted Jai as is with his flaws and decided to overlook them and focus on the good....such is love I guess when you accept that the object of your affection isn't perfect but you ignore the bad and highlight the good! I've said it before too that if she could love him when he was rude and mean to her then the milder, more loving version of Jai will just sweep her off her feet!
And you're absolutely right about Jai....there isn't any reason for him to NOT like Bani and well to some extent he's started realising that as well. His fondness for her developed over time after he too chose to let go of his anger and decided to focus on her strengths.
I think that is what makes this show a success....the reality factor! I mean they didn't just immediately fall in love with each other at first sight.....it was the sacred institution of marriage that brought them together and taught them to understand, compromise and eventually fall in love! Kudos to Kekta for attempting such an issue with a lot of maturity! 👏 👏 👏
