With his debut film Band Baaja Baaraat hitting the jackpot, and his upcoming film Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl generating curiosity, newbie Ranveer Singh is surely on a roll. If that wasn't enough, then, Ranveer is now all set to show his literary skills as he has written a script which he plans to direct himself.

Shedding light on this, the actor revealed that it's a dark comedy and is partially ready. He also added that he had this subject in mind for a very long time and that it is contemporary and relatable to the youth. Besides writing, Ranveer is also keen to produce, direct and act in this film. If not him, he will try to get another director on board, but continue to be the writer of the film.

Ranveer strongly feels that the film will go on floor maybe in a year or so, because, the basic idea will become stale if there's any delay.

wow he's so talented. I heard he's doing a movie with Sonakshi now. I wonder how their pairing will work because she's big size. Ranveer looks good with Anushka because they are both same size fit

If the script is really good or whatever then he should go for it. Follow his instinct. BUT...for right now, let's focus on Ladies vs Rickhy Bahl...hope the movie turns out good. Movie wise AND box office wise.
