I have a greater worry about Adi. I'm waiting till the subs come out, so this may be completely unfounded.

He just may side with his father over his mother. No one has the guts to tell Adi anything about Brahma. That might not change, either.

Oh! In India EVERYBODY is very progressive so long as it doesn't affect his/her own family! And in any case I don't think He IS progressive.He has the most peculiar relationship with his wife.He is either angry or wants physical contact-there isn't a smidgen of love/affection/respect between this couple.Just pestering a girl till she agrees to marry him is not being too progressive!
