but i wouldnt say he came from nowhere

His dad was a celebrated poet,MP in the 60s
his mum was BFF with indra gandhi

the family's proximity to the nehru gandhi family was well known...

he might not have had a godfather in the industry..his parents were influencial heavyweights nonetheless

Heard when he started acting in films, his 17 films flopped, then finally zanjeer became hit... today if 1 film doesn't work, star never gets a chance... lucky big b 👏

Now that is plain rude 2 call Sonam Kapoor a FlopStar, His IHLS earned more than 50 Crores, a Hit, Thank You was an Average, moreover all her movies are earning above 30 Crores.

Nobody knows BIG B before Zanjeer happened, nobody noticed the legend in him...

but SONAM is known even before her 1st release, solid fan following... so comparing these 2 figures on flop ration is uneven.

Having So much Family Background didn't helped him @ time, Even in magazines they always mention, Amitabh Bachchan was called Angry Young Man from Zanjeer time only...
