Hiten confident to retain ArMaan chemistry-Article

Hiten Tejwani, who has replaced Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav, is fast becoming the replacement specialist, as far as Ekta Kapoor is concerned. Starting with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kesar, Kya Dil Mein Hai, Kitani Mohabbat Hai and now Pavitra Rishta, Hiten has replaced all the lead actors in these popular serials. He says, "At such times, I keep the basic character same but bring my mannerisms to it." Currently, he has his work cut out for him. "Sushant has left his mark as Manav and and I have to fit myself into that mould. However, my style will definitely be different from that of Sushant. What I like about Manav is that he is extremely simple and down-to-earth and that has to come across on screen," he observes. Hiten is also hoping that he will be able to re-create the chemistry between his character and Ankita. It might be recalled that Sushant and Ankita sizzled on the small screen as they are a couple off-screen. But Hiten is confident that he will be able to pull it off and says, "I have done a mock shoot with Ankita and she has been extremely co-operative," he says.
