I've been saying this ever since the 4 year leap issues arose and Sushant was rumoured to be having issues with Ekta.

I always had the feeling and got the impression that Ekta (and possibly others of influence), but mainly Ekta, was trying to "get back" at Sushant for thwarting her plans of Manav returning post leap with a new wife and a child in tow.

It was said that Sushant objected strongly to this storyline and it was shelved. Everyone who has some idea of what Ekta is like, describes her as very stubborn and liking things her way all the time.

To have a "young" (in terms of time in the industry), actor succeed in "killing" her plans must have got under her skin, and she sought other ways to "win" while "showing him who is the boss".

In the long run, Ekta is the one who will lose. Mark my words!!!

I hope so and Sharon I noticed that this ULM avtar of Manav started after he joined that first show what was it JDJ or something before that? He was in in alone and he got malaria or something and it ruined her shooting schedule etc and she had to "accomodate" and at that time too I remember that he was not being encouraged or supported by BT in this dance thing but he wanted to do it for diversity so his fans could enjoy all facets of his talents

Now that a new Manav is playing the role (and supposedly a loyal actor of Ekta) Manav is getting a chance to be a knight??

This bothers me more than Sushant leaving. No wonder he felt a frustration with the character he was downloaded to portray. though don't get me wrong a sensible and realistic female lead is always appreciated but why so late?
