PART 15
Geet comes out of the hospital and runs towards her car in the parking area.
Another car enters the parking, Dev sees her and says to Hari, "There she is. Hurry."
Hari starts to drive the car towards her.
Geet goes to her car in a zigzag manner so that they are not able to follow her. She reaches her car, unlocks the door, and sits in the driver seat.
They see her entering her car. Hari increases the speed and starts to drive towards her car.
As she sits, she drops her car keys. She starts to search for it.
In the meantime, Hari drives their car straight into her car. He rams into her, and she loses her balance.
She comes out of her car, and before they can catch her, she runs inside the hospital premises.
She starts to run and does not bother to look who is behind her.
Dev, Hari and Nandini come out of the car to go after her. Hari also takes his gun out to go after her.
Dev tells Nandini, "Drive the car to the front and wait for us there. In case she comes out of the main gate, inform us."
Nandini nods her head and goes to sit in the driver seat and starts to drive.
Dev and Hari run after Geet.
As Nandini starts to drive towards the exit, she sees a black SUV entering. She starts to drive the other way, but the car starts to follow her. Before she can get out of there, the SUV blocks her way, and Maan comes out of it.
He goes towards the car, and drags her out of it.
He then asks her, "Where did they go?"
Nandina answers, "I don't know."
Maan twists her hand on her back, and makes her face the car and pushes her more, and asks "Where?"
She tells him through her eyes and says, "That way."
Maan takes out hand cuffs from his back, cuffs her one hand to the car and says, "You stay right here."
Dev and Hari are following her. Dev signals Hari to call her.
Hari nods and says, "Geet, where are you?"
Dev also says, "Geetu darling, where are you?"
Hari sees some movement and shoots in that direction.
Dev gets angry and says, "Don't hit her. We need information."
They decide to go in different direction as they will then be able to cover more area and surround her.
Geet takes the gun out which she had taken from Kartar.
Maan also comes in that direction, and has a gun in his hand.
All four of them are in the basement of the hospital.
(Please imagine area like this, covered with pipes and staircase, like a fire escape.)
Geet sees Hari coming towards her. She steps out, points her gun towards him and says, "Stop. Put the gun down."
Hari smirks and says, "You are a smart girl. And you know I will not put it down."
Both of them are pointing the gun towards each other. Geet then says, "I'll put mine, and you'll put yours."
But Hari does not listen and before he can pull the trigger, Geet shoots him.
Dev hears a gun shot and says, "Hari, Hari, you there?"
Dev then sees her, standing above an iron staircase (like a fire escape) with Hari's body lying below the stairs.
Geet stood there shocked and scared while looking at his body.
He looks at her and says, "Where did you get that gun honey?" and starts to move towards her.
Geet points her gun towards him and says, "Stay away."
Dev points the gun away from her and says, "Take it easy."
Geet still pointing the gun towards him, and says, "Put it down."
Dev puts the gun down and sees that there are two, three pipes together, acting like a bridge, with the help of which he can reach her.
While getting up after putting the gun down, Dev says, "I have never seen this side of yours."
Geet smiles sarcastically and says, "Well, you haven't seen anything yet."
He starts to walk on the pipe slowly and says, "I like it."
Dev reaches the middle of the pipe. Geet realizes this and says, "Stop, stop right there."
Dev puts both his hands in the air and says, "Alright baby, as you say."
Geet takes out her mobile, shows it to him and before she can say something, Dev says, "Geetu, why don't you and I take all the money and run away. Baby, everything has changed."
Geet looks at him, and says, without any emotion, "You wasted your time and effort. I really hate you."
Dev is struggling to stand properly; he slips and is now hanging by the pipe. He says, "We can go anywhere you want."
She looks at him, smiles and says, "Baby that sounds fantastic."
Dev hand are getting tired by hanging, he smiles at her and says, "You are priceless to me."
She looks at him, looks at her mobile, and then throws it towards the ground.
Dev looks at the mobile falling down, his hand also starts to slip and he falls down.
Maan hears sound of something falling down. He runs towards the sound and sees a man lying in a pool of blood.
He looks above and sees Geet standing motionless, all numb, shivering and silently crying.
He starts to go towards the stairs and sees another old man lying dead.
He looks at Geet trying to come down, but is all shivering.
He says, "Geet, don't' move. I am coming."
Geet sees Maan. She is relieved, tears starts to roll down her eyes. She is only able to say, "Maan."
Maan looks at her, keeps his gun behind, and assures her with his eyes. He comes to her and hugs her.
As soon as he hugs her, she hugs him more tightly and begins to sob.
Maan starts to rub his hands on her back, trying to calm her down. After some time, she calms down and he starts to climb down the staircase, all the while holding her close to him.
While going towards the hospital main building, Geet comes out of the hug and says, "Maan..."
Maan looks at her and says, "What Geet?"
She replies, "Before we go up there and see all those people, I want to ask you something."
Maan nods his head and asks, "What?"
Geet looks at him and asks, "Why did you believe me?"
Maan smiles at her, and says, "Because you are my friend and I know you."
Geet looks unconvinced. Maan knows that she will not believe him, he then takes his hand in his coat, and picks out the book.

He then says, "This, this book."
Geet looks at him confused and asks, "What about it?"
Maan replies, "Read the last chapter. The whole thing is there."
Geet smiles sadly and says, "Couldn't even put something original."
Maan looks at her and asks, "You okay?"
Geet smiles at him and says, "Sure. One day at a time. How are you?"
Maan replies, "I am fine, now that I have my friend back. Let's get you out of here."
He then put his hand around her shoulder and both make their way out, towards a new start.
