bani-jigs battle could have been avoided

Well the topic is over with the coming out the secret that it was anu who was pregnant. The reason of writing about this topic is that I thought about bani's mistake and her battle with jigs. We all admire bani for her big sacrifice by taking the blame of pregnancy of anu. But personally I didn't agree with her step. Reason I already mentioned in one of my topic, so don't want to repeat. I personally believe that battle between bani and jigs could have been avoided if on knowing about anu's pregnancy, bani told everything to jigs with taking anu into confidence. She told to jai that she knows how important a girl's honor and pride not only for herself but for her family too. She again continue that If there would be rano or pia in place of anu, she don't know what she would have done. On saying this, she forgot that jigyasa is a mother of anu. If you have a right to know, decide and do everything about and on behalf of your sisters then jigs to have a right to know, decide and do everything about and on behalf of anu.

Further she consider herself as a mother of rano and pia. Then being a mother of two young daughter how can she forget to think about jigs and her feelings on knowing such an important news about her daughter? Being a mother how can she snatch jig's right as a mother? She forget that she and jigs living in the same house and jigs don't like her at all. If she would have told everything to her the moment she came to know about anu, there were bright chances that jigs develop a little feeling or respect for her. Not to forget that jigs is a mother and every mother respect the person who save her daughter from getting humiliated in front of society and save her "izzat". As said by bani, she hide this news just to save the family pride but if she informed jai or jigs about it, then too she save the family pride. So final come out of the whole issue is bani became "mahan" in the eyes of jai and other family members except ranvir and jigs remain bad and arrogant in the eyes of jai and adi though she was right (only in this matter)

I wrote in one of my post that bani's intension was right but the solution she choose was wrong.

Exactly my thoughts. Bani should have imagined how hurt she would have been if Rano was pregnant and hid it from her.

I agree Kiah....infact I had mentioned in one of my previous posts that Bani has unncessarily put her relationship with Jai at stake for Anu! And without any valid reason to boot!

Bani was completely wrong in this issue.....and she might have realized it later and hence, she did not keep any grudges against Jigyasa and Jai for all that they said to her!

Bani's intention was good but her action was wrong....Anu had not taken Bani into confidence on her own, Bani was the one who had come to know of Anu's pregnancy and hence, she had all the right in the World to go and tell the same to Jigyasa or better still to Jai or Aditya.....Bani had no business to interfere in the personal matter of her husband's family, especially when her relations with them are so sour!

But chalo, jo bhi hua acche ke liye hi hua.....

i do agree wid all.but if v think from another point of view bani took the blame bcoz she new tht there ws nothing btween her n jai.she might have thot tht this relatioship ws going 2 end so why not end it this way.mlite sound a little silly.but.....but.......but......

I agree with u!! I understand that Bani may not have been able to tell Jigyaasa but she atleast could have talked to Aditya. Aditya is Anu's father, he has the same rights and responsibilities towards Anu that Jigs has. Once Aditya knew, he would have handled the whole thing with Jigs and Anu himself!!!

Anyways, I hate it when they make the female leads in seriels some kind of GODS/DEVIS. No woman is so selfless that she would destroy her very charector for her husband's family. By making these kinds seriels they are making families expect such unrealistic selflessness from their daughter-in-laws!!!

i agree with you, they need to make the characters more realistic

I don't think Bani didn't speak up because of Izzat, but she had to keep the secret, really..

Bani said that Anu was like a sister to her, so she would of protected her, I agree that there was too many insults aimed at her for her to remain THAT quiet..

She did try and point Jig to the direction of Anu's late night unmentionables, but she got shot down! Jig's soliloquy about neglecting her kids was fleeting and she was soon back on track.. getting rid of Bani so she could get all the mula !

Prachi most likely thanked God that she got some scenes where she didn't have to say alot, and got to cry.. to get all that stress out! ;)
