I would hope that you and I are looking at the same Serial. As far as I know is that Kartik had a choice when his mother asked him if he eloped with lovely or not. He choose to lie and Lovely was pleasantly surprised when he did this. Kartik knew that his mother would have maaried him to Lovely if he said yes and that was why he lied because marriage was the result he was looking for. But after the marriage he seem to forget all the love for lovely and pledge allegiance to his mother.

Lovely seems to be lying all the time - she keeps making promises to Karthik not to but does anyway. Yes, everyone lies but there's a limit. With Lovely you never know whether she is lying or saying the truth, that's when you know you're lying too much.

I mean, how are you meant to have a conversation with her if you never know when she is lying and when she's not?

I know Karthik may be going overboard by asking Lovely to completely stop - but Lovely needs to also make some changes and cut down on her lies. Not every sentence coming out of her mouth needs to be lies. I don't like lies but I do understand sometimes we need to for a good deed - in Lovely's case, EVERYTHING she does starts with lie and ends on an even bigger lie.

as shown in serial she is trying tell as less lies as possible.but it takes time.so karthik need to give that time to her.
she loves him so much .for keeping that love she is going to stop lies for sure.
