Episode begins with Jai coming to meet Bani (I think she has shifted to Rano's room, so long Jai, serves you well) who is sitting crying silently (Ab bas bhi kar meri maa, saari tanki ek hi baar mein khali kar degi?) and looking miserable with grief and guilt as he stands in front of her. Bani looks at him and stands up, with apparently no expression on her face, except that of a heartbreak. Jai kind of fumbles mentally and without a preamble just says, "Mujhe maaf kar do Bani." As Bani keeps looking at him, straight in his eyes, Jai is not able to face her and turns his face to the other side and with desperation in his voice says, "Mujhe aise mat dekho Bani, mein tumhare nazar milane ke kaabil bhi nahin raha."
Bani looks at him and very calmly tells him that as a woman she understands what a girl's honor means. Even though she is from a middle-class family, her Father imbibed the values and belief that a girl is only as good as her honor and that must be saved at all costs. Bani tells Jai that Anu is like a sister to her and she did what she would have done for Pia or Rano. The moment Bani says this, Jai is stunned and tells her that how can any person be so forgiving, so selfless. Bani keeps quite, though you can make out that she looks very emotional as Jai says with so much of remorse in his voice that he was so bad to her, he made her life miserable, he taunted her, insulted her, demeaned her and called her characterless, all when she was completely innocent and yet she has the grace to overlook all that and forgive? Bani says in her usual dignified and calm manner that she can understand what a family goes through when a girl is caught in this situation, and that whatever Anu did was in innocence and that any girl can make a mistake, but that doesn't mean, she will have to pay for it for the rest of her life (Her indication was also towards Pia, because Jai's expression changes as he understands the connotation) Bani then kind of consoles Jai and tells him that the best thing to do in this situation would be to get Anu married to the Father of the child as soon as possible and not make her go through any kind of pressure.
Jai says miserably, "Bani main bahut bura aadmi hoon, tumhare maafi ke kaabil nahin hoon." (I couldn't believe me ears that it was Jai speaking, loved him for this!) Bani looks wretched herself when Jai says this, his eyes moist and looking crazy with repentance and shame. As Bani listens to Jai's repentance, he gets very restless and says passionately, "Jab tum nein mujhe bataya ki tum pregnant ho, pata nahin mujhe kya ho gaya, mein khud par kabu nahin rakh paaya. After all you are my wife dammit." Jai is stunned at his own confession and so is Bani and the song Jiya Dhadak Dhadak plays in the background. Bani comes to Jai and looks at him with affection and respect and tells him that as long as I am your wife, I will never let your honor down. Jai looks besotted by Bani and is all mushy and awww.
Jai, Bani and Aditya are talking to Anu about her marriage. Anu talks about the guy called Rohit, Jai, Bani and Aditya decide to speak to the guy's family! Ranveer comes in and shouts at everyone and says that they are all busy talking about Marriage whereas does anyone know that Mother has left home. Everyone is stunned, and Jai asks Ranveer where has she gone, to which Ranveer says that after so much of humiliation, how could Mother stay in this house, she has gone to Tauji's house and won't come back till Jai Mamaji apologizes and Bani leave's the house. Jai looks extremely irritated and tells him that is she crazy, why should he apologize for anything and no one is leaving the house, Jigyasa can stay where she is! (Lolz…Jai knows how to show everyone their true place!) Aditya too supports Jai and tells Ranveer that Jigyasa has an ego bigger than anything else and she is worried about her honor when her daughter's life is at stake. Ranveer looks at Bani with hatred and says that it is all because of this person that Mother had to leave, Jai looks ready to kill Ranveer as he stomps off in anger.
Seema looks worried as she tells Mahesh and Ma that her Brother is coming to India permanently with his family and they will have to give up this house and where would they stay now. Everyone looks worried. Pia is showing the pictures of some posh houses to Pushkar and telling them which one they should buy. Pushkar is exasperated and tells Pia that they cannot afford anyone of them and they should be thankful if they can get a small flat in some suburb in Mumbai. Pia looks extremely disappointed as Pushkar looks worried by Pia's attitude.
Rano and Sahil come back to Walia house and Sahil is bleeding and is supported by Rano. Bani comes in looking very worried and asks him what happened, Adiyta also joins in and is very happy to know that Sahil got hurt because he supported a right cause for the first time in his life. Rano looks very shy and happy while Bani looks worried at the growing friendship and attraction between both of them.
Jai is in his room, sitting on his bed (Looking rather hot as usual) and trying to read a magazine titled Golf (How snooty!) very disinterestedly. Jai is not able to concentrate on the magazine as he keeps looking at the clock and then wonders to himself why hasn't Bani come back to the room till now. (Kya baat hai Jai sahib!) Jai gets up and prances up and down in his room wondering what is taking her so long and whether she even realizes what the time is (How cute Jai looked, all hassled and worried and slightly irritated that Bani is not around him) and then tells himself that she might be in Rano's room and decides to pay a visit there! (OMG….he looked so cute, sneaking to meet Bani!)
Jai very quietly goes to Rano's room to see Bani sitting patting Rano to sleep and she is surprised to see him and he very self-consciously asks her that can she come out for a moment, he wants to speak to her. (Awww, he looked so cute, shyly asking her to come out……Now these two are having mid-night meetings!) Bani comes out to see Jai waiting for her in the Living Room, a little worried and lost. Jai then opens his heart to Bani and tells her that Anu is almost like a daughter to him and that he is now feeling bad that he called Jigyasa and Aditya irresponsible whereas obviously even he has failed in his responsibility towards Anu. Bani quietly listens to him and then in the most cute and wifely manner consoles him and tells him that everything will be alright and that we should just get Anu married off as soon as possible. Bani tells Jai not to worry about what has happened but just try and do the best remedy possible. Jai looks very grateful to Bani and pretty disappointed that he has to go back to his room alone….Jai then gives Bani a very soft and affectionate look and tells her, "Thank you for talking to me Bani." And walks away, Bani is left standing confused and perplexed and the title song of Kasamh Se plays in the background as it shows Bani groping with the her emotions for Jai!
Sahil is shown sleeping in his room and Ranveer comes and tells him about all that happened and then says that he doesn't want anyone else from his family should do anything foolish and hurt Mother anymore. As a disappointed Sahil listens, Ranveer tells him to stay away from Rano.
Comments and Summary;
"Mujhe maaf kar do Bani" Jai's heartfelt apology : All misgivings we had for Cuddles will be evaporated once you see him apologizing to Bani! Finally, Finally, Mr. Jai Walia, the one with an Ego as huge as the Himalayas, had the grace, the shame and the courage to not only apologize to Bani, but actually look miserable with remorse. Jai comes straight to Bani and without as much as a preamble, just goes off like a child apologizing to his Mother, "Mujhe Maaf kar do Bani." Then as Bani keeps looking at Jai without any apparent expression on her face, Jai miserably turns his face the other side and says with great emotion in his voice, "Please mujhe aise mat dekho Bani, mein tumhare saat nazar milane ke kaabil bhi nahin raha." The apology was true blue Walia style yet extremely touching and very genuine, atleast I found it pretty convincing and I am sure so did Bani!
Bani's reaction to Jai's apology : The poor girl has been so emotionally battered that she is not able to digest anything now, not even Jai's heartfelt and remorseful apology. Cannot blame her, it will take a lot of effort on Jai's part to win the lady back…..Bani is not the kinds who can ever hate anyone or even be angry towards anyone, but she is also not the kinds who can build trust easily….and like it or not, Jai has really rattled not only her trust on him but also her own self-confidence….and he has to go to hell and back to win that back! All the best, Jai, you surely need all our best wishes to win Bani back!
"After all you are my wife dammit" Jai's confession : No this is not the confession I was talking about, but I think the one thing that really affected Bani today, was not Jai's apology to her but his admission that he was jealous as hell to know that she could be pregnant with someone else's child because after all she is his wife…..If Jai was stunned at his confession, I think Bani was in for a bigger shock and a pleasant one at that!
Jigyasa is actually out for good, Ranveer can rave & rant : Jiggy is actually out of the house and the whole burden of marriage falls on Bani and Jai! I think it will be really cute to see both of them getting all busy in the marriage preparations and kind of finding their lost love in between….Jai is surely going to go all out to woo Bani, I just hope he takes it easy, Jai is very passionate and aggressive in his hated and anger and so will he be the same in his love…Poor Bani already guess's the same and for safety sake has moved to Rano's room, much to his disappointment!
Mid-night meetings and discussions : How many of you thought that Jai just wanted an excuse to see Bani and that is why he went talking to her about Anu? I found it really ironical and very cute to see Jai missing Bani's presence in his room and wondering what is taking her so long, just the way Bani was once missing Jai when he was with Roshni! How time changes, Jai! Lolz…it was funny to see him sneaking into Rano's room and calling Bani out for a chat….Jai can be so cute when he wants to!
Performance Barometer : Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai once again. I loved the whole confession scene, it was done very well and much in tandem with Jai's character, the way he almost begs Bani to not look at him like this, because he is not able to match eyes with her was so touching! Ram did a fabulous job as usual and looked his usual hot self….I thought he looked the best when he goes sneaking out to meet Bani, he has such a sweet, boyish expression on his face. Prachi is looking prettier without her make-up, although she looks extremely young and fragile. I loved the speech she gives on a girls' honor being the most important thing for a woman and her family….very natural performance!👏
