And looking at the promos, where Nidhi is trying to prove herself as this irresponsible adolescent, not fit for a doctor's role... I wonder why would any person spend 5 years of their year studying for something, if their heart was not into it, ... I know she thinks she is a mis-fit for the role, but would love to see how she goes on to grow and accept this noble profession as her life... this story can be brilliant, if and only if, like you all said, the direction were to let go of clich scenarios and show something unique... anyways, for now, this show is def on my watchlist !!!!
Honestly I may be in the minority when I say this but the original also didn't have the most unique of scenes...yeah they are adding more mirch masala to the Indian version in terms of filminess but there was never anything earth-shatteringly amazing about Ahmer-Zoya's love story to me either.
So by that logic, my expectations from Nidhi-Ashutosh are on the low side too😆...So far I haven't been put off...that feels like an achievement these days since I can't stand most of the crap on TV anyways😆...so yeah this show is on my watchlist for now too.
Even if they are going to go with cliched scenarios, I can only hope the treatment is good and gives an edge to their scenes.
